    Alternative US AA Setup
As many of you know i have developed a bit of a reputation recently for eating planes!

I have been using a Juneau II with the 3" 70 Mark 23 with around 22 Binds of AA shells, 2 x gunners 2 x AA gunners and a BO, this setup work nicely and allows high speed spamming of shells bue to the low reload time of the guns (use your main gunners not your AA on the R Slots) you should also be able to hold around 20-30 bulge.

Last night i decided to see if i find an alternative to this, so looking at the AAW for the US shipline i saw the brook has a rating of 265 as opposed to the Juneau at 234, so allready thats a good start.
Looking at the options of AA guns i decided that i would like some more hitting power as the 3" regularly need 2-3 salvo's to bring down enemy planes. The best alternative seems to be the 5" 38 Mark 38 which has a relatively low reload time and pack a bigger punch.
So i installed 5 sets on my brook loaded up with ammo (22 Binds of AA and 5 Binds on HE). Next i looked into armor and this was where i got a very nice suprise, with my 5 crew members on board i was able to fit 5 bulk and 120 Bulge!!!!!

In my first test CV hunt i was really impressed with this setup, i was able to have 3 binds in air at the same time plus a AAW that was so high that nothing survived bombing or torping me. The other great advantage of the brook is the gun angles which mean less turning just to get all your guns facing the same direction!

having played 3 games with this setup i averaged 2-4k credits of planes per game which is an improvement on the Juneau mostly due to the fact that you have enough bulge to charge torpbombers without having to worry wether or not they have time to drop torps.

I reccomend trying this setup especially if you haven't tried AA'ing before as the brook is a much tougher ship, also the CV's don't seem to think of you as such a target as they don't expect you to caryy AA in your R mounts.

All in all a very effective setup plus the 5 binds of HE go a long way towards protecting yourself / killing the CV's.

If anybody has any tips or tricks to AA'ing then feel free to post them here :D

I like to mix the 3"/70N and 5"/38 Mark 29N together on my BBs. The golden angle is identical, but the reload speeds are a little different -- it causes your ship to spew more of a stream of shells rather than chunks and makes it a little easier to aim.
