Couldn't believe my eyes, because this evening BBC TV showed a clip of an Elvis Presley concert....and there was Jimmy on stage with his double necked guitar being introduced by the King himself!
I think Keith Moon was on drums...some wench on bass...and some crazy looking black guy on keyboards.
Pro-shot by the looks of it too...
AMAZING!
Around 9.00pm this evening on BBC2 TV.....totally freaked me out! Jimmy thumbed to the crowd when the King introduced him!!

vielleicht haben die aus spass sowas wie eine fotomontage gemacht. das geht doch auch mit filmen. so eine art "wunschband..."

Vielleicht...aber auch schwer vorstellbar. Es heisst ja, dass Elvis Jimmy angekündigt hätte...oder vorgestellt...wie sollen sie das faken? Und dann auch noch mit Ton... :roll:
Ich glaube, die ganze Geschichte ist erfunden. Jimmy + Elvis...wäre zu schön aber dann noch Keith Moon an den Drums!? Nee, ab da wirds völlig unrealistisch :lol:

Dann würde ich das aber auch mal gerne sehen...wird ja hoffentlich bald bei Youtube auftauchen ;-)

I was flicking through the TV programmes last night hoping to find an interesting station to watch, I clicked on a BBC site to see Elvis on stage in the mid 70s introducing is backing group.
Elvis said these are my backing singers the Sugerbabes, and then said this is my lead guitarist Jimmy Page, base guitarist Noel Gallagher and on drums Keith Moon. I thought this is weird, Elvis, Pagey and Mooney on stage together I must be dreaming to find out it was a BBC montage edited to advertise there radio stations.
Very well put together, well done to the guys at the BBC.
Its an advert for radio 2. Its really well done, merging shots of a range of musicians. It includes Page with the double neck circa Arms tour?
The main player is Elvis introducing his band on stage in Vegas or Hawaii with Page on guitar, moon on drums, Cheryl Crow on bass??? and Stevie wonder on piano.
I saw it for the first time tonight.
I must apologise to Stevey Wonder Fans, He was introduced as the Keyboard player.
