For people with a router , if you wish a server
    (Example)
UDP port 29070 for IP 192.168.1.10(my internal IP)

The above example is merely pseudo code and not intended as a direct instruction.

The aforementioned is an example of what would be typed in the telnet/ssh connection to your router, - however as i have already stated many different routers provide a variety of different protocols for administrative purposes.

Some routers provide a remote command line interface whilst others provide an HTTP graphical interface.

In most cases the cheaper "family friendly" routers provide administration utilities and connectivity through an HTTP administrative interface whereas more in depth systems provide command line and/or web-interfaces.

If you have a router, you need to consult the provided manual (or the manufacturers website) on how to do the following:

    1) Connect to, and administrate the router.
    2) Edit / Manipulate the Network Address Translation table.

Once you have understood how to do the above two steps for YOUR particular router you need to configure the NAT as such:

Add a NAT entry for port: 29070 (or whatever port you have chosen)

The NAT protocol type is UDP.
    The internal(lan) port is 29070
    The external(wan) port is 29070

('29070' may differ depending on whether you started the server with a custom port { +set net_port 'param' } )

The LAN-side IP address is: (the LAN-side internal IP address of the computer on which you are hosting lugormod) This, in most cases, will start with 192.* or 10.*
(this can be identified in windows by typing: ipcfonfig in the dos command-line or in linux by typing: ifconfig in your shell)

The external IP *should* be determined by your router via DHCP. If not, you must define your WAN-side internet IP and can get it from: www.whatismyip.com)

On an additional note, it might be a good idea to ensure that the computer hosting lugormod is configured to use a static IP address (does not change) regardless of whether it is assigned by DHCP or not. If the computer constantly changes IP address on reboot or on network interuption you will have to repeat router configuration each time the IP table is refreshed.

    ----
If you HAVE at least made an attempt to follow the above steps and still cannot manage to define your NAT entry you can private-message me with the model of router that you use, the manufacturers website and i will attempt to help you.
