last night i posted on uthgard forum asking for some feedback from the GM's about the server works
seems they don't have the new server yet :cry:
some probs with transport or so
so if they get it how long would it take to get it up and running?
any idea?

Hmm...if the sever has not arrived yet, i'd say we'll have our home castle back at sundays at the earliest.
But it is only a guess, maybe tomorrow evening, we will all be home and kick some hibernian luri-a....:P

They had a contract for the old server, the contract ran out while the new server had not arrived.
That's the reason.

I think there are some probs, so i don't know if they get it today.

yep, they have probs, been online for 5 minutes, quickbars empty, npc's not working.. they took it offline again and metty is working again :lol:

How to get the quickbar filled again:
Go in your DAoC directory.
Delete the Charname-88.ini (if you don't have this file, leave this step out)
Rename the Charname-116.ini to Charname-88.ini
Charname is the name of the char you want your quickbar back for.

And txt Topa for the hint with the quickbar, that really helps if you had three of them and now do not have to recreate them from scratch. :)

Ok, more problems, we will have to wait a little bit longer, right now no one can tell when the server will be online again. May be this noon, may be next days...

Yes maybe, but the best thing we can do is wait till they fix the things that need to be fixed.
I can imagine and understand the staff is really pissed of by the people nagging around because of the server still offline. (i do NOT think of you monty :wink: )
I personally would love to get more information, but i have come to the point that leaving them alone and working is the best solution for both sides. They will certainly do what needs to be done.
With my annoyance the last days in the Uth-forum I for my part won't post a lot there for some time anyway...

i'm just bored and frankly i find the situation nothing less than hilarious.. but that's just me :P the only thing i wish for is that this isn't a deathblow for the server and that gms dont give up trying to fix the problem

But till the reboot came, it was playable for about 15 minutes without lags for me...hope's rising again!
