If you want to share any of Miyavi's writings, (a couple of sentences are fine, too) here would be a great place for them !

Miyavi wrote this diary on his birthday ~
I translated it by translating the Korean subs ... sorry if it doesn't make sense to you ... TT

and i wrote some explanations between the dashes to help youguys to understand easier ⊙_⊙ ;;;

Happy birthday to me.

めでたくハタチになりました（毎度毎度すまんね）

Fortunately, i became twenty years old. (I'm sorry) - Miyavi actually became 25 in Japanese age. he means he feels like he's twenty. you know, Miyavi sometimes even calls himself as sixteen. -

やっと連日のゲネも一段落して

I hardly finished the day rehearsal,

今、前日にして何故か素っ裸です（モザイクかけといてー）

Today is the day before it -I think he's talking about a concert- , but for some reason, i'm naked. (do the mosaics for me, please-)

んでまぁ大っきくなったなぁ、と。

anyway, it's getting really huge.

それでもこれから人生まだまだ半分以上あんだぜ？

Sorry for the 子 -the short name for Miyavi's fanclub- who i said something like birthday mails. -I think Miyavi promised to send birthday mails, but he didn't.. I'm not sure, just guessing-

来年はちゃんと送れるようにするからさ。

I'll try my best to send them next year.

This is so cute and emotional. Once more I realise why i do love him that much. In this moment I'm feeling sorry for myself that I didn't put more effort in getting to know who Miyavi is. I just listened to his songs, collected pictures, watched PVs, his movie and liked to watch him doing random stuff and so. But I didn't inform me about stuff like character, different data and stuff any normal fan would like to know. It's a pity. But I will change and soak in everything I can find about him! I just don't know when the day will come I can gather enough energie to start it because it's against my person and my nature to put effort into anything. It's a plague but I'll try my best for Miyavi.=3

I damn f~cking have to thank you for the translation.

i was just kinda worrying if other people could understand cuz Miyavi's writing is like .. bouncy ;;

if you guys have any of Miyavi's writing, i think it would be fun to have them written here (and it would be even better if the translations are written too.)

This is the most recent diary Miyavi wrote.

I'm not sure if he is going to write some more diaries this year cuz he is coming to US . (Yeah!!!!!)
But I don't think he's having any concert or new albums released while he's in US .... ;a; *sighs*
he said that he's going to America to study (maybe music ?)

結論から言うと

To say directly,

僕に足りなかったもの、それは愛でした。

it was love that I was lacking.

ソロアーティストとしてデビューして４年、

It has been four years after my debut as a solo artist

本当の意味でのソロアーティストとして地に足をつけるべく
独奏というスタイルを確立していくその過程で得たものは
皮肉にも「独りではない」という事でした。

Ironically, what I gained from the process of establishing the style, which is called "solo", to become a true solo artist, was that 「i'm not just one person.」

なんと逆説的な結末でしょう
一人である事を認識していく中で、独りでない事に気付かされたのです。

Very paradox conclusion, isn't it ?
I got used to 'not being alone' while I was recognizing myself as 'alone'.

僕はこの事を一生忘れはしません。

I would never forget this.

そしていつの日も自分を愛し、その上で誰かを愛していく事でしょう。

and we love ourselves whenever it is , and also love someone else.

メンバー、スタッフ、そしてファンの皆．．．

Members, staves, and all my fans. . .

５日間のステージはあっという間でした。

The five-day-stage all seemed to happen very quickly.

まるで夢の様に楽しくもあり、それでいて儚かった。

It was very fun like I was dreaming, so I was kind of embarrassed.

ただ、夢は醒める。

However, we have to wake up from dreams.

でも僕ら人間は目が醒めても夢を抱き続ける事ができる。

But still, we, the human, can keep on dreaming even after our eyes open.

僕も未だ夢の途中です。

I, myself, is still dreaming, too.

ステージでも言いましたが、少しの間旅に出て来ます。

As I mentioned on the stage, I'm going to take a short travel.
-Miyavi is flying to US , or maybe he already did. Miyavi didn't tell when or where he's leaving. I hope he comes to Chicago cuz I live there !!! lol-

空は仰いでるだけじゃ飛べない。

I cannot fly but just look at the sky.

海は眺めているだけじゃ越えられない。

I cannot go over but just look at the sea.

時には地に這いつくばって、

Sometimes, we have to throw ourselves flat on the ground.

溺れ死にそうになって

and sometimes, we have to drown ourselves

初めてその尊さを知る事がで?濡

to realize the valuableness for the first time

そしていつか飛び越えてやるんだ。

and, go over it someday.

だから少しの間だけバイバイ。

So byebye for a while.

さよならは言わないよ
また皆で一緒にバカみてぇに笑って出会えるその日まで

I won't say the word "sayonara." -I think he wants to show that he's coming back, so he doesn't wanna say the word.-
not until the day we all see each other and laugh like fools.

Wow! How can you translate this difficult signs? Okay, i know they are called Kanji, but i understand nothing. It seems to me so gibberish.
But it's really sweet what Myv wrote. He seems to be a really nice guy and loves his fans!

actually i retranslate the original Korean translations to English . haha ;;

I know some Chinese (or kanji as you said) ,
and although i can speak and understand a lot of Japanese, I know only three hiragana letters . lol

Okay , since Miyavi is not posting his new diaries so far,
I'm gonna start translating from Miyavi's most recent diaries to his oldest diaries.

東京ただいまー。

I have been to Tokyo - . -Tokyo = the capital of Japan-

この夏なんだかんだいって軽く２４都道府県プチ全国ツアーしちったよ。

I easily did the mini tour for 24 boodoboohyun -It's kind of a similar concept of America's 50 states..- of the whole country.

あとアジアの皆もおつかれちゃんね＠

and everyone in Asia did a good work, too @ - I guess Miyavi had some kind of the whole Japan and Asia tour or something like that..-

やっぱどこ行っても応援してくれるファンの皆の顔をみるとぼかぁしあわせだなぁ～

Wherever I go, I'm always happy to see every fan's face who are cheering me up ~

なんて柄にもなくこっそり感じてしまうのはせまりくる年のせいでしょうか。

I know it's weird , but is it because my birthday is coming that I'm being a little touchy these days?
