Ich versuche gerade durch Google herauszufinden, welche Konzerte der frühen Jahre als Mitschnitte existieren...ist aber nicht so einfach :-(
Kann es sein, dass es keine Aufnahmen von vor 1973 gibt? Oder habe ich nur noch nicht die richtige Seite gefunden?
Bei Zep kenn ich mich mittlerweile aus ;-) Aber bei Queen ist alles Neuland für mich :-(
Gibt es eine Seite, wo alle existierenden Live-Aufnahmen aufgelistet sind? Falls jemand was weiss...wäre gut...sonst suche ich mir noch'n Wolf ;-)
Aber beim Suchen bin ich über diese interessante Aufnahme gestolpert...nur: Wo bekommt man sowas her? :roll:

Comment Recorded by Geoff Higgins (Ibex roadie) on his Grundig TK14 reel-to-reel machine, later sold in an auction to a private collector, then lent to Queen Production for the purpose of including 'Rain' in the FM Solo Collection box set, then leaked to the bootleg market. This concert was very important because Ibex were joined by Brian May and Roger Taylor for the encore which means it's the very first concert with Freddie, Brian and Roger on one stage. Sadly, the tape ran out after 30 minutes so it misses this encore.

Ich habe dort mal nachgeschaut...aber viel klüger bin ich nun auch nicht ;-)
Es scheint fast so, als würden erst ab 1973 Aufnahmen existieren. Das wäre sehr schade...und für mich auch unverständlich. Von Zep gibt es Aufnahmen von 1968 an...und dann durchgehend von jedem Jahr. Irgendwelche Fans haben da immer mitgeschnitten...und warum sollte das bei Queen anders gewesen sein. Vermutlich existieren zwar Aufnahmen...aber sie sind nicht in Umlauf. Irgendjemand hat sie in seinem Tresor ;-)

Also...es existiert zumindest eine Audio-Aufnahme (Video weiss ich nicht...), aber Robert war wohl nicht gut drauf, an dem Tag. Es hätte eine TV-Sendung werden sollen (mit Roger an den Drums)...sie ist auch aufgezeichnet worden...aber Robert hat die Ausstrahlung nicht erlaubt :-(

This was the failed Plant TV show. The band also features an interesting line up including some band members who later tour with Plant that year like Robbie Blunt and Bob Mayo. Queen's Robert Taylor fills in on the drums.
This is the scrapped TV project that Robert attempted in 1983. After listening to it it's easy to see why, Plant is battling throat problems and it plaques most of the performance. Sea of Love has a different arrangement than what would appear on the Honeydrippers album which afterwards Plant comments on his voice troubles again.
Television footage from this show has not been seen by the masses

Die Zusammenarbeit zwischen Roger und Robert kam dadurch zustande, weil beide (gemeinsam?) mehrfach in einem TV-Quiz aufgetreten sind:

Von Duran war auch irgendein Taylor da...aber der heisst John, oder so ähnlich...
Und das ROGER da war, wurde ja auf einer Queen-Seite berichtet...also wirds schon stimmen, denke ich.
Vielleicht ist er nich auf dem Bild...aber in der Sendung war er wohl...

Und ja, es gab auch ein Pop-Quiz in dem Roger Taylor von Queen teilgenommen hatte. Es muss aber nicht das gleich gewesen sein.
Gib mal bei youtube folgendes ein 'roger taylor pop quiz' und dort findest du die Aufzeichnung diese Sendung. Sind einige Teile.

Danke für den youtube-Tip...hätte ich auch selber drauf kommen können ;-)
Naja...es gab mehrere Staffeln vom BBC-Pop Quiz.(über mehrere Jahre). Und bei einer Folge müssen sich Robert + Roger (der richtige) ;-) getroffen haben. Und dort hat Robert Roger gefragt, ob er für ihn, bei einer TV-Show für MTV, "trommeln" würde. Und Roger hat ja gesagt :-)
Dieses Konzert hat dann auch stattgefunden...wurde gefilmt...aber leider wurde die Sendung (Robert-Konzert) nie ausgestrahlt, weil Robert anschliessend die Erlaubniss verweigert hat (wegen Stimmproblemen) :-(
Aber es gibt eine Audio-Aufnahme davon.
Das scheint alles Fakt zu sein, denke ich...

Btw, I have a 15 DVD set filled with MP3's/FLAC's/whatnots of unreleased Queen songs and rehearsals, including the band doing an incredible version of 'Stairway To Heaven' from a 1972 soundcheck in Slough.

it was a show that should of been broadcast on channel 4 uk 22 june 1983 but due to robert plant having problems it never got broadcasted.this is a audio recording of that show,it featured roger taylor,robert plant and other guests.i don't know of any video from the show just this audio recording.in total recording lasts for about 85 minutes

Wollte euch nur darauf hinweisen, dass es bei Traders Den folgendes sehr interessantes zum Runterladen gibt (aber, so wie es aussieht, kann ja scheinbar niemand von euch dort etwas runterladen) :roll:

Dürftest du bei eBay bekommen. Besonders toll ist sie aber nicht, weil die Klangqualität nicht so doll ist. Aber das Sammlerherz kauft eben viel. :lol:

Das ist doch vermutlich inoffiziell (Bootleg), und somit nicht erlaubt, oder?
Zep-Bootlegs sind früher bei Ebay regelmässig gestoppt worden. Aber vielleicht hat sich das auch schon geändert...
