BWL, BWL and yet more BWL!
Since we have had to cancel the last 2 BWL raids because of too few people being online, we have decided to cancel all other raids for at least 1 week, possibly longer than that.

EightyFivePoundMightfish is not meant to be a guild that does MC/Onyxia and nothing more! We *need* to make progress, and the only place we can do that is in BWL

It will cost us some big repair bills, it will take time, but this guild is more than capable of making progress in BWL and beyond, so there is absolutely no reason for us not do to anything more than farming MC.

Do note that we will start up farming MC again, we just need everyone to focus on the guilds currently most important task: Making progress in BWL! And to make progress in BWL, we need to be 40 people online that are willing to pay the repaircosts, willing to spend the time it takes and willing to wipe over and over again until we get new bosses down!

    First

    /signed

    <3 BWL

    I want wrath

And btw, if the sunday BWL run wont work, i seriusly think theres something terrible rong in the guild =/

Re: BWL, BWL and yet more BWL!

    Gillia - 30.08.2006, 03:22

The sunday bwl WILL work, since people have signed up for a PvE guild, and therefor they WILL attend PvE raids !!!

Unless people just want to grind their tier1 epics in MC and be satisfied with sp00nish stuff, I DO NOT see any point in not attending the bwl raids !!!

COME ON !!! Let's make some progress........

PS: We're here to have fun, but fun is only had when we get to go new places (IMO)

PPS: The people, who are participating the most in bwl raids are ofc the ones who get the tier2 stuff. Don't "wait till we get the bosses under control", get some spirit...

Of course I agree.... and BWL is great! (At least I hope...)

But I think that cancelling all other Raids is not the right way to get people "more focused".
And if "the focus" means the need of tier2 players, which I hope it does not, a dissenting opininoin is forwarded :x

The Guild shoud be making progress by having all members needs and interests in mind.

I still need reputation (even from ZG) and my gear is far from BWL/req.
but I am willing to pay my repair bills for the fun of downing new bosses and their adds. :P

IRL is taking up a lot off my time (working at least two nights a week, attending evening classes at the Univercity aso.), but I always sign up for all Raids that I have the possibility to join/stay in full time.
If I get kicked it is not because I haven´t joined Raids at least once a week(If not accepted that is another....)

PS. In my oppinion having fun is playing with "friends and foes", not "the battleground" chosen!

    :drunken:

    More BWL. Yesterday was pretty sad cause we rly did not have enough ppl to start bwl ;_; Well. Coming on next one and hoping we can get group and and whipe razorgore for good ! ^^;

Regarding ZG, you can always hope that there will be a run, if we have 20+ people online willing to go, or you can go with gurubians, they're usually pretty great.

The people in the guild with bwl experience says that our gear in general is good enough to go there, so we don't have a gear problem. Sure, almost all of us needs something from MC, but that will have to wait.

I believe there are a lot of people only participating in a few raids, and when they have the choice to go to a whipefest in BWL or to an MC on farmstatus, I guess they choose the latter. Therefor, no MC before people start signing up to BWL raids and we get some progress...

Dropping MC and onyx sux imo...

Recruit more ppl is my oppinion...
Personally i still want to do Onyx and MC as i still need stuff from there... and as i see it, the majority of the members are not experienced enough to start BWL..

Imo, we don't need more experienced players, just more experience at the new bosses we're gonna smack around.

After all, NE have downed him some time ago (no offence ofc), I rest my case...

As far as i know, they have taken in more experienced/better geared players..

Seems that this message didn't come through clear enough... We're not leaving MC/Onyxia, etc. behind for good, we're just not going there until people start signing up for BWL as well.

Considering Norse Elites' progress in BWL, the main reason they have downed Razorgore and Vael is that they have actually had 40 people signing up for their BWL raids  Gear is not our problem in BWL, it is the number of people willing to go.

i think bwl is more optimistic when ppl have more parts of tier 1... (including my self :P = with 6 epics to bwl???? oukkey!)

    As stated in previous posts
We have what we need in gear. We are able to take down bosses in BWL, we just need to be enough people and lay down some sweat and tears. That will give us the experience (and practice) we need to succed.

Is there BWL raid 8.9, 9.9 or 10.9? I'm really busy IRL, but next weekend is free :)
