Hiya peeps!
Like Allyriel, i too have some expectations to you guys when we raid:
¤ Repair, so we dont end up with people down in durability after a wipe or 2.
¤ Be online on time! Meaning if you are accepted to a raid, you are online no later than 1830. If you havent been accepted check in about 1830, to see if we do have a spot open anyways.
¤ I will from now on require that you at least have some normal Arcane Elixir with you for boss fights in Raids, and Greater Arcane Elixirs for the following bosses:
Hexxer & Hakkar - ZG
Ragnaros - MC
Ossirian - AQ20
ALL BWL Bosses
¤ Remember to bring along Major Mana & Health potions aswell, for the long boss fights! They are easily farmed in Silithus.
¤ Remember to tell me if you are to go AFK.
¤ And, keep VT & Raid chat free of unessecarily chat & speech, not needed at all.
¤ And get your epics enchanted! If you recieve a epic from a run go do something to it, the more stats the better!
If we do this, all our future raids should go even more smooth than they do now.

Having to have potions with u for every raid ( even though i can make most myself ), Costs gold, and the more raids we do, the more it costs..
Who is paying? well what I mean is, not all of us have time to farm gold, herbs or whatever. I for one am running low on cash, due to so many raids.. And do not have as much time as before to farm..
Easy answer to the cost is, GO FARM.. however, if I go farm, I will not be able to come to so many raids as I do now, and since this IS a raiding guild, One is expected to come to raids....lol.
Am not asking for hand outs, all am asking is, if one cannot afford to "always" have potions rdy..for all raids, then will that mean, u cant come ? ;)

Eager mentions 4 bosses in 4 different instances, where he requires you to be buffed up. I don't know what the arcane pots costs, but rogue's combat drug (mongoose) costs about 2-2.5g each. We use them from after shaz and forth in MC, at 3-4 bosses in ZG, from Rajaxx and forth in AQ, so it can get a bit expensive. But it IS needed, if we want to avoid those 1% raggi wipes. It's far more expensive to wipe at a boss than to do some drugs (ingame).
If you have time to attend a 4 hours raid, you should have time to farm for an hour, which should bring in at least 10-15g. When I did a lot of pvp, I still had enough money for a little drugs, so I don't see the big problem.

Besides, mages are a great class for grinding (I've heard), just like rogues are fine. I could see why a priest, pala or tank wouldn't want to grind 10-15g, beacause of their low dmg.

was not asked as a problem, was just a question, if you cannot go to a raid if u have no potions:P
and some of us work for a living, have our own place, RL apart from wow, not all of us have the time to farm as much as we wish.

Since it is required for Rogues and hunters aswell, i cant see a problem in us, as Gillia says, being able to spend a hour or something like that to farm for some pots.
And as gillia says, it gives us the advantage to get down the mobs which is causing us problems in the instances, which again, gives us better gear, which again again, will give us the extra bonus, so that we, in time, will be able to overcome these bosses without the use of drugs.
We will manage it on some bosses, but as an example, on our next -end mc, i will require you guys to be on drugs...
I know RL can be a challenge, but should be manageable...
If not a hour a day, then some hours in the weekend or something...
You earn cash in 5man instances when done with guildes aswell as grinding on your own, not a biggie at all imo.

Prolly not... but dont take it as a "ill just say i dont have any" solution...
We really need those extra buffs for at least some time, before we can start lowering the requirements... Nothing comes for free, both IRL & in WoW
