I'm going to TRY and start off a intelligent thread! I doubt VERY much it'll be carried on but I'll try. This is my thread so no text talk please
Why do you think different people deal with different emotions and situations is certain ways? What makes it easy for some people to talk about their emotions and very difficult for others? Why do some people 'replace' the mental pain they feel through self harm with physical pain?Not 'because thats how they deal with it' why can't they deal with it in the first place? Does it depend on the person? Also what about addiction personlitys and emotions? Why is it easier and more common for say women to talk about their feelings but much harder for men? Does upbringing and your surroundings effect this, or can a person change from open to closed? :dead

Some people find it easier to talk to someone about their emotions because they have a lot more confidence and trust the person they are telling. I find most people dont talk to their families but their close or closest friend. Some people self harm because they believe it takes away the pain of what they are going through. But then some other poeple (and i'm not saying everybody) self-harm because they just want to end their life completely.
I think woman tend to express their feeling a lot more than men because some men dont want to be seen as wimps because of their emotions, eg. if they are hurt or depressed but that is just my opinion.

It depends what happens to you.If you´re deep hurt, you don´t trust anyone.That´s the way it is.Maybe later, when you try to forget what happened, you can tell anyone.But for most people it´s hard to share they´re angst because they´re afraid that others don´t understand them.And that´s sometimes even right, because nobody feels the way you feel.That´s why so many people are alone with their problems.
For the man-women-thing, men want to be brave.So - no problems allowed.Women are more relaxed there.

Yes, i suppose you are right Marie, no-one else knows or can tell you how you are feeling. But on the other hand some people find it easier to talk to a stranger or someone they are not close to. It is horrible to keep all these emotions locked up inside. :nixweiss
