Shit, it's funny :evil: I was just writing a post in TWPL forums and when I wanted to send it.. the thread was closed :evil: I'm a bit pissed off but well, I'll post it here, hope you dont mind - the post concerns Charlemagne vs RTK issue.
As it became public I'll let myself to express my opinion.
Lately we were debating in TWPL forums about all kinds of arguments, insults, redundant personal comments, closing/editing threads. The priority of TWPL, as many of us said and agreed, is to give the community a great tourney and to unite TW players - as we also agreed there should be no space for personal issues such as these mentioned by Ektoras earlier (Red Lion vs Wolves etc.) because this is not a right place to resolve conflicts between the clans or inside the clan.
Frankly speaking I was very surprised to see this thread started by Charlemagne as it was obvious that it will turn into one big chaotic complaints/insults etc., etc. I understand that you, Charlemagne, wanted to explain it to the community but wouldn't be the better idea to do it in a bit different way => without provoking your ex-clanmates to start discussion. You are a great dilpomat mate, you've got a lot of experience in that area - but it makes me even more surprised that you decided to announce it in that way.
I will not comment the reasons of your resignation from RTK as I consider this as a RTK's inside issue and sticking my nose there would not be nice. I just mention that I've read most of the threads there (including these about war, politics). I don't tolerate both nazist and racist.
To sum up, I'd like to ask a question - what's the difference between Charlemagne vs RTK issue and previous (and already fixed) Wolves vs Red Lion thing, SA thing and others that you, the admins, were trying to fight?

Charlemagne is a gladiator and he's battling with RTK much to my entertainment. :D
I think Charlemagne was hurt by RTK and this is his way of revenge, and I'm lovin it ( Fuckin McDonalds that was my phrase) 8)
See RTK would have hid the reason behind Charlemagne's resignation and there would be a lot of confusion and notions. I believe Charlemagne wanted to get the truth out in the air to avoid all that mystery bullshit. He left his clan because he doesn't agree with them. The reason is serious enough in my eyes that it's ok to make it a public thread in the TWPL.
Charlemagne has shown me some of the stuff Dag has said in their private areas and he basically hates Israel and wants them obliterated.
He's an Anti-zionist, if not anti-semetist. But some of his comments leave me to believe he is both. :wink:

Well the SITH vs COR scandal was over a match schedule in a game. Char's post is about serious political and racial issues.

SA vs COR :P But that's the answer I expected - this issue is serious and the rest were just not as important and let's say shallow (were they all? these mentioned by Ektoras? I'm not sure). The point is that I don't see Charlemagne's post as something far more important than these things mentioned by Ektoras. People leave clan coz of many different reasons but is there a sense to make them public? After all it was clearly said what is TWPL for - and it's deffinitely not a place for the personal issues of all kinds (political, religious etc.) - the problem is that I see Charlemagne's thread as a personal matter which should not be drag out. I think that far better idea would be an info that Charlemagne resigns from RTK because of personal issues - would be enough and would not provoke a senseless discussion.
But well, it already happened and I could say that TWPL forums were used for personal issues - that's a bad use of them, especially by the admin.. And this damn manner of closing thread and then adding a final words - stfu, I really don't like it :P

Yep they need to set some guidelines. There should be zero personal matter involved, and admins should stop deleting threads, they should send the heated ones to an agument forum or something. :wink:
even so, Charlemagne had a legitimate point. At first I didn't see everythin dag said, only a little, so I thought char was overreacting. Now I've read more and I feel Char made the right decision to leave RTK. Again, I think there is a big difference between the previous clan disputes and char's threads, but I don't think he should have posted it in the twpl forums. It's not very professional. He should have kept it in the RTK forum. We all make mistakes :wink:

it seems some people r forgettin that THIS IS A FUKIN GAME!!! i really dont understand how a political discussion could end up going so sour. i think there r maybe some personal issues involved & judging by how angry some poeple got i suggest they r not inteligent enough 2 hold a discussion on politics & so shoudnt bother attempting in future or else their brain may explode.

it a fucknig game. I had People Insult my Country and insult my Family and such,but I not going to quit RTW over those comments. I just goten used to them,while someone like Charle might be used to a Really "Honorable" enviorment and might take extreme Offense to Dag's comments or whoever's comments, to someone like me, I would be piss,but not on that level since it a Damn Game,and if you like to discuss political stuff, go to totalwar.com or .org,they talk more about politcas then they do TW, or go to another non game site and talk about it,but no need to get all pussyfit mad over a politicall dicussion.
