I log into tibia for another day of exciting thrill and adventure as an honored hero of the tibian community.
Another day as a GM!!
The first thing I notice is a request simply named 'help' from Rookgaard. Usually I hate such undefined requests that could mean anything but it’s the first I read that day and I feel generous. So I just teleport there and see some people standing in some dark corner, with red health bars, one bar nearly nonexistent.
Me: What's the problem?
P 1: Suddenly our last torch run out and something started hitting us.
Suddenly, eh? I say nothing, but listen.
P 2: It nearly PKed us!! Help GM!!
Considering it's on Rookgaard and in the trollcave that's obviously a bit exaggerated but I slept well and feel mild today.
Me: I guess it was a troll as one would expect in trollcaves.
P 2: Do troll hit harder when its dark??
Me: No, they don't even know that it's dark.
P 1: So they SEE in the dark!!
Oh boy ... but no other requests around, so ...
Me: As all monsters, yes
P 2: Even Wasps?
Me: Yes ...
P 2: But Wasps don't see in the dark!
Me: Tibian wasps do see in the dark.
P 1: Boy, this game is strange
P 2: Can you teleport us out? We're gona die!!
Me: No, sorry, I am not allowed to.
P 1: But wee will die!!! PLZ PLZ PLZ
Me: No, sorry.
Both are silent a moment, I try to do a sneaky teleport away, but ...
P 2: Can you go and kill trolls for us?
Me: No, sorry I can't even if I'd be allowed to, which I am NOT!
P 1: PLZ
I am going to type my good bye as another player shows up.
P 3: Hi, waz up?
I look at him, a 'seasoned' Level 6 trollhunter.
Me: Those players are nearly dead and could need an escort out of here. Would you do that?
P 3: Sure!
P 1 + P 2: Horraaay!
P 1: u r cool dude!
P 3 throws some spare wooden shields towards them.
P 1 + P 2: Wow! Cool! Thanks dude!!!!
P 1 to P 3: You are sooo nice!! Are you swedish??
P 3: LOL no! I am american
P 1: Oh, we are swedish
Oh my, who might have guessed this after that question?
P 2: is quick to add though But we like americans alot!
P 1: Yeah americans are cool
I take a deep breath at my PC and lay back, watching the trio decamp. I just start to teleport home as P 1 comes running back.
P 1: Hey dude!
*sigh*
Me: Yes?
P 1: You should make P 3 a GM!! Hes verry cool!
Not ready to start an endless conversation I try to be diplomatic.
Me: We will see..
P 1: Way more cool then you!!
Tsk, why did I teleport here in the first place?
P 1: (disappears yelling into the darkness) COMMING!
Finally! I am just about to vanish from this cursed place as...
P 3 (yelling): NO! DON'T FOLLOW IT! NO!
P 2 (yelling): I GET HIM! I GET HIM!
P 1 (yelling): MINE!
P 3 (yelling): NO THATS FULL OFF ORCS!! NOOOOO!
P 1 (yelling): HELP!
