Those lucky people in Liverpool.......
Reporters are keen on commenting on how people look, I am sure if we saw a photo of them they'd have zits, are cross-eyed, and bald. and if tested, certainly have no musical talent themselves.
Loved seeing that clip from Montreaux, I had to replay it over + over.
The energy, enthusiasm, the love from the stage to the audience and back again from the entire band, thanks Michi and Bea for the link.
Those reporters, why do they have to "pick on" people, why not just do their jobs getting the story straight, concentration on the venue ?
They are there to comment on the concert, the performances, the reaction of the audience, maybe throw in the weather if outside, but certainly not give their opinion that his hair looks like the Lion from the Wizard of OZ......courage, give me courage.

Damn right they were. In that insane heat in that tent. Gave us their all from the first note to the last. As did Dee and Sarah (who they insisted on mentioning seperately, I noticed). Everyone looked like they were pouring sweat at the end, 'specially Pete...

right Michi,
this article was exactly like one they published (THE STAR) 2 years ago when the photographer was snaping pics of him & his gal and Mick was chasing him away. Remember that one ? similar nastiness.
they just like to pick on him as the "unlikely one" not realizing that not only do we all appreciate him (outwordly), we appreciate his inner talent, outlook on life, opinions, and respect him. We like what we see.
we all share a natural common bond. (organic and spiritual.)
what did he ever do to anyone to merit this disrespect ? NOTHING.
so as we cringe at things people say, print, or photo, Mick knows the fans are all there for him always and forever, and we forgive those twats for being ignorant, out of touch, ill-informed, bastards.
that covers it.

Some comments were very flattering to the band & Mick which was nice to read but why ruin a good article by saying he's an unlikely pop star or commenting on how he dresses. Was that really needed??? I don’t think so! Oh well it the Typical Tabloid and Newspaper hacks that like to poke fun at other people to make themselves feel better.
