Melanie C's gigs and festivals this summer:
13th July - Zurich, CH, Live@Sunset (Festival)

Also rumours about a fourth album coming around Christmas.

At last! There will be a live DVD of Melanie. She invited some of her fans to a special concert in London. On Thursday 31st August, she played a gig at a secret location. The DVD will be out before Christmas.
Melanie is to play an acoustic set London's Hard Rock Cafe in aid of Breakthrough Breast Cancer on Wednesday 11th October.
With over 400.000 sold copies "First day of my life" has now been awarded platinum status in Germany.

Melanie's first Live DVD is out in the United Kingdom now!
It will be released in Germany on 24th November 2006.

Melanie C is working on her forth studio at the moment. Rumours came up that it will be releaesed on March 19, 2007. This would give her a tough competition with Garbage, Avril Lavigne, 3 Doors Down and Natalie Imbruglia releasing albums on the same day.
Red Girl Records reacted to this in a email responding to a fan: "We haven't set any dates yet so don't know where 19th March has come from!"
A fan asked Melanie at a Meet & Greet in mid December about her plans for the near future. He remembers this:
She has so far 15 songs recorded for the new album.
She'll be recording and producing the album until the end of January.
She wants to release it by spring.
The most logical time would be in late March or in the beginning of April.
As usual, this is to be treated as rumours/ not true until a official statement is released on Melanie's website www.melaniec.net
Concerning more recent news, the team of www.melaniec.net has published a video of Melanie and her band rehearsing an acoustic version of the old Beatles classic "All you need is love" as a Christmas treat. You can find it in the VIP section of the site.

It's official!
Melanie has two new singles coming out this spring. This has been announced on her official website on January 18, 2007.
"The moment you believe" will released on March 16, 2007 in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. It was co-written and produced by Peter Vettese who also worked with Melanie on the album Beautiful intentions (2005). "The moment you believe" has been chosen for the advertisement for the German TV show "Nur die Liebe zählt". The ad is on air already; so switch on Sat1!
"I want candy", a cover of the Strangeloves' song, will be released in the UK and Ireland on March 26, 2007. Stephen Hague produced this track. Melanie was asked to record this as the title song for a movie featuring Carmen Electra, which is coming out in the UK on April 6, 2007.
You will be able to listen to these new songs on Melanie's website from sometime this week.
Two dates have been confirmed for German TV: Melanie will appear on "Nur die Liebe zählt" on March 18, 2007, and on "Wetten, dass?" on March 31, 2007. She probably only perform there without doing a proper interview.
