Sounds like a fun idea :)
To make it more fair and perhaps more fun we could arrange that people in the first couple of rounds in the tournament duelled others with equially gear/spec.
For example, poor fat holy Alred with pve gear shouldn't get WTFPWNED by bad arse ganking-specced Gillia. (At least not in the first duels MUHAHA :twisted: ) But instead duel an equially specced opponent like a prot tank, (count TTT in here, Tyrio the Tanker!). :lol:
Oh yeah and the reward for winning shouldn't be gold cause people will whine. Instead it could be a dirty lapdance ingame (as well as "outgame") by Zante :P OR 1 chance to pull Vael when the raid is not ready :!: :lol:

PS: I use thistle tea in duels, since I suck at it, call me a cheater right now :)
