I made this post in the TWPL forum but it was deleted by RTKCharlemagne, but cause i'd like 2 no peoples thought i hope its ok i post it in different forums!!
I'd like 2 no peoples thought about how a game should be handled if ur openent breaks the rules but u still win!! Should u be given that win or should u be made 2 replay it even though u gained a disadvantage in said rule breaking!!

Well, I know the situation from TWPL forums. I know that the match ended with 2-1 in favour of COR but let's imagine that the last battle (won by COR) didn't take place - anyway this last battle is not important at all in this problem I think.
So - we've got 2 battles in which team A broke the rules twice although team B managed to win one of the battles and it's 1-1. Obviously team which broke the rules should be penalised - but when we replay BOTH games then no team is penalised as the situation is equal - by judging so we could break the rules in every single battle as this battle would be repeated. In my opinion it is a bad solution as it does not penalise team who broke the rules.
My explanations may be a bit complicated, I know, but let's just take a look at a popular sport event in football. What happens when one team breaks the rules (in example sets in a match a player who should not play coz of red card in previous match)? Of course match is not repeated - it is given 3-0 walkover, no matter what was the result of the match. But taking this into consideration SA should win by two walkovers :D
This is just my personal opinion for you guys from SA. But on the other hand we can say that respect for the admin's decision is also essential.

they say the admin decision is final.... in this case i have to disagree with the admin, 1- because the admin who give cor the victory was the only admin to deal withit and he is biast against SA because of FB taking the piss out of him,and 2- COR should an experianced clan to read the rules and there for know what they can take, in this case they cheated a win out of SA and there for it should be up to the loseing side wheather 1- they should replay the whole matches again (to give them another chance by folowing the rules) or 2- have themselves aworded a 2-0 victory like naiver said, but if the admin decide that the cheating FUCK'S of cor should go through i will not participate in any compatition's that they arrange and i will treat them like shit along with cor and i also dont like the admin deleting a valid complaint by one of our member's, because if this goes unpunished then it opens the way for evrery clan to cheat!!!!!!!! and i know im new to SA but you will be getting complaints about me and my abussive lanuage towards cor and the admin..... theres so much more i want to rite but im to angry about this as it comes down to what we have all discused before HONOUR....

I will not argue a case unless i no im right...and every1 no's im right, it come down 2 char not likin me cause i took the piss outta the guy, but if he sticks with his decission every1 will no its wrong and think its fucked up even a member of ur admin thinks it char!!

im a bit pissed off beause char is allowing his personal oppinion of you to give cor the win and cor should know better like i said an experianced clan and there behaving like kids who dont want to say that the toy isnt theres, they should give you a best out of 3 but ill settle for a one match wins because i know who would win "cough SA cough" although it should be up to those to were cheated, but ill leave it in your capable hands.....

Two of their armies were only cav, the other one only inf. They rushed us 3 times!! Neither in the first 2 games, nor in the last game the game was decided by skills, it was just a clicking, nothing more. This shows cleary that the rules are bs. With no cav restriction, exactly such things happen. If the admins should really stay with these rules (no cav max) then this tourney sux. COR and maybe other noob clans (sry for the word, but its hard for me to look upon you as a skilled, honourable clan after all the debates and games we had with you) could use the same tactic in every game. And if clans take the same armies like we did (a balanced army with 6 archers, some cav and inf) they wont have a chance either, thats for sure.

PS: I (we) are honourable enough to play every1 again after they broke the rules by accident, but COR didnt only cheat, the worst thing was that they spammed aswell. And they will 99% try to spam us again if we play a rematch.

Well i have been playing since STW... a long friggin time. And i have seen rush tactics used many times..hell i even managed to master the tactic in MTW :wink: :lol:
As long as i can remember there has always been a proccess to countering it.
1. If they try to triple or double one side have that side pull back at a slant think of it this way (_ _ / )
2 Pull your archers behind your men and aim for the weakest units as they engage... after engagement of the initial frontal troops aim your archers at units (usually mostly cav) trying to go around your side.... try to avoid engaging them as long as possible to get maximum amount of archer damage.... also since you said they had loads of cav use infantry in the engagement... put your inf on hold position and engage them with the enemy cav before you engage your cav... once the inf is engaged take them off hold position... that is just for the initial charge of the enemy cav to reduce there charge bonuses and kills... then engage your cavalry... utilizing your archers as much as possible... aiming wherever the enemy has a unit not engaged or extremely close to your units...

yes..the "skirmish" tactic is a good one, if they have low cav count...jst keep running in all directions shooting....when they chase, pick off the groups they send one by one..

so how exactly did they break the rules? im assumin they was over their cav max? or is it just that they didnt use archers?
cos if they was over their cav max u guys shoulda made em route units until they reached their limit b4 beginnin battle :? & if u didnt??? why!!! lol & also why didnt u all hit those berber cav with fire? why r there no archers out on the flanks getting rear & flank shots in or at the least drawin cav away from melee 2 chase em?? why r u not pulling bak & shooting em up??? anything other than that full frontal it looks like u guys chose!!! :evil: lol
anyhow if u knew they had broken rules & then chose 2 play then the result should stand whoever won.
but shame on COR for usin such noob armies :x
i wil personally be tryin 2 play as many COR members as i can from now on & i will take some nasty spam armies against em so i challenge u guys 2 do the same & lets see who can post the most vics & we will have a vote 2 see who has the best spam army win against COR in a week or 2 :twisted:
