Hello guys, just wondering what kind of music do you listen to? Of course except Milt's sis roars and moans :lol:
There was a time when music was a big part of my life but for a few years I don't have too much time and music went to the corner. But therea are some bands that I really like. First of all:
CRADLE OF FILTH - deffinitely my favourite music band, FireBlade may know them as this is a British band. They play black-symphonic metal or however we call this. I was once on their gig and it war really A_W_E_S_O_M_E. Of course I've got all their records.
Some metal like - Dimmu Borgir, Divinity Destroyed, Finntroll and many others. I also like some Manson's samples, Therion and Sepultura. When I was younger I had a band called Verdad Negra (Black Truth in English) and we had a few gigs in Poland. I was a roarer lol 8) Here goes my pic from a biggest gothic music fest in Europe (in Bolkow) - was taken a few years ago when I had time to travel. Cute girls, arent they? lol The one on the right is crying, dunno why :roll:
Although lately I changed my preference a little - I really enjoy some of Maggie Reilly (Mike Oldfield) songs ;)

The music style i like the most is rock (not hard rock or metal). Arctic Monkeys, Franz Ferdinand are my favourite bands. I also like movie soundtracks, Hans Zimmer is the greatest, Klaus Badelt, James Horner, John Williams, Howard Shore they all made great soundtracks. :D

Yes, that's me on this pic (2nd from the right in case of any misunderstanginds :lol: ) - it was taken about 5 years ago in gothic music fest. These girls were a bit shy, don't know why hehehe :wink:

Cradle of filfth = Shit, because they are british naiver, only points out my bitter dissapointment :P
Arctic Monkeys = Overrated northern toss pots who cant sing, just happen to be half gifted with strumming a 2 string guitar...
Franz Ferdinand = Are solid and decent performers because they can actually do a decent live performance...
Atm im listening to such things as this:
Keane - Is it any wander
Kelly Clarkson - Breakaway
Feeder - Tender
Zutons - Valerie
The Kooks - She moves in her own way...
I love all rock music, decent dance/techno/remix stuff like Robert Miles and totally despise any "slit my wrist" music...Cradle of filth would be in that category 8)
Im going to see Angels and Airwaves over summer holidays too :P

Well, Cradle are considered in Poland as posers, not a truly black metal band, rather something for young rebellious chicks but I personally do not care about that. When we put their image away we still have a great music - that's what I'm interested in. Although now I don't listen to music much I always buy their new CD and never regret.
Frankly speaking I don't know any of the bands that you wrote, Barrett. 8) I'm not deep in music lately.
Personally I hate all dance although after a few beers it doesn't matter and even J. Iglesias sounds good :glol: I really like Prodigy but don't even know if they still exist? Monster Magnet was good but I really can't stand this so called nu-metal from America - even after a few beers I'm sick of Green Day and other similar stuff. :capito:

I love music, and i appreciate any good music no matter the genre, i kinda think music can say a little about a persons peronality, hence why i tend 2 lean torwards music with attitude and meaning!!
I love COF but not as much as Metallica (not Selloutica DP) Kid Rock, Bullet For My Vallentine, RATM, Eminem, Guns And Roses, Linkin Park, Limp Bizkit, Simple Plan, Blink 182, Good Charlotte 2 name just a few and also old school stuff like Black Sabbath, AC/DC, Alice Cooper etc etc
Though sayin that i listen 2 dance and techno 2, wot ever takes the mood :D
And ohhhh yea, Snow Petrol are a very cool band 2, every1 go out and get 1 of the albums (final straw is the best) got me threw sum tough times, so kudos to those fuckers :)

Personally I don't like some genre - ie rap or hip-hop, there was no song that I would prefer of these genre, maybe I didn't hear enough :) But that's right, everything depends on the mood - I really enjoy some Madonna's songs, she's special. And Cannibal Corpse are special too :glol: About Kid Rock, yea, this song badidwa was really tremendeus but their other songs were not as good - although I haven't heard much.

Yep, I've got msn but lately I've got a damned problems witm comp - it seems that I will have to buy new one :? The old one is seriously damaged and I've even lost a lot of my mp3's but fortunately I managed to recover some of them. But after formatting the disk this damned to hell msn (this time msn live) does not work - it needs winhttp.dll file and I have to get it. But I think that the only soliution is buying a new comp - before this time I can't go to msn - it's b_stachura@hotmail.com

the kooks,the secret machines,the raconteurs,we r scientists & the automatic r all good stuff i have heard recently oh & angels & airwaves-konstantine is a great track
milt is right old wu-tang was awesome along with gravediggas & naz etc bak when rap was good
i like the old skool techno,house & trip hop etc as the 90s r a bit of a blur 4 me :shock:
but i will listen 2 pretty much anything me though :D

i love metallica, ac/dc, cooper, black sabbath, ozzy osbourne, g'n'r, bon jovi and similar bands to fb, not much time or money for music these days but i would love to go to a decent record fair like we did before i joined the army.....
