Hi Dan,
welcome to our board !
Please check the first link, the address is not correct :n66:
The letter "fqq" is a code of the manufacture of this part:
"Wolff & Söhne G.m.b.H. P.J., Bierbrauereieinrichtungen, Düren/Rhld.,"
"Wolff & Söhne" is the name of the manufacturer
"G.m.b.H." means limited company
"P.J." is unknown for me
"Bierbrauereieinrichtungen" means brewery equipment for beer
"Düren" is the name of the city
"Rhld" is the state (Rheinland)
A lot of manufacturer which build civil parts, build also military parts during the war. I have no idea what this part is
Regards
Nils

dan35 - 13.05.2009, 20:13Type Luftmine ?
Hello,
Thank you for the reply. Here are some of my new object.
Link : http://www.absa39-45.asso.fr/Avions%20divers/Lillemer/faux_terrains.html
I received from a friend two photos including one identical to mine for this cone.
Both parts come from northern France.
The friend said it is an air mine.
Type Luftmine. I am looking now pictures of this type of mine air.

Hello Dan,
follow this link. on the 5th post down there is a photo of a parachute mine.
it looks to be a bigger diameter than the one you have shown though.

We did some work on a Luftmine explosion site, wrongly thought by many to be that of a V1 here:
