Hi guys, I am happy to be on-line here after longer time again. So best regards to everyone!
Have one request:
We have chance to get an external fuel tank, which was described as to be for P-51, but I am pretty unsure. This is very atypical. I do not know its measurement right now, but it seems to be in the usual size. Check on the photos, the fuel tank has some details looks to be of the US style, like the fittings, positions of the gaps, etc.
I know well, I have seen this type of fuel tank anywhere, on a photo possibly. But I am unable to identify. Similar tanks were used on P-39s, but this is impossible, that the external tank from a P-39 should be dropped over Czech territory.
Any possibility to ID? Any comments will be appreciated.

Possibly from a P-47...I've seen them on those flying with the Emergency Rescue Squadrons:
