    Hi,


    #1 should be a cock control (Aircraft automatic pilot)
    #2 the digit "14" could be the number for cylinder no. 14 (radial engine)
    #5 looks like a working cylinder
    #6 the yellow color indicated "oil"


    It would be very easier when you can post the numbers and stamps on this parts and from the last more photos ;)

    #6 it isn't yellow color for oil, but zinc chromate.

    The piece is a tail wheel

    Stirling tailwheel (later Mk 3 twin contact type) hub number is AH2282,The first bit is from the auto pilot main gyro and the long cast tube with drilled hole connecting plates is from the side of the recuperator used with the frazer nash gun turrets.

    got a feeling that tailwheel is from a Wellington..bristol hercules powered Wellington circa 1944.......they were based in Italy.
