    Bf-109 part
    oi!

I found this part on two different Bf-109 crash sites, but also on one
another crash site of one German plane which I can't identify.

So does anyone know what part is this, is it just from Bf-109 or maybe from some engine, or weapon, anything than could help me to discover that unknown German plane.

    thanks
    Raus

    Hi
No idea what they are but I have found the same parts in the wreck of a Heinkel H-5. Interestingly they are vertically 'stacked' together in banks of 5.

    Hi Raus,

what kind of material? Is it bakelite?
On the first view I would think this are roller, but the diameter of the drilling hole is too small.

what is on the left part to see inside, a wire?

    Regards
    Nils

Guys, this should be from an instrument, measuring press. The material should be cupper, brass or similar.

    oi!

Thanks on your answers, my problem with this crash site is that plane crashed maybe 100 meter from village and that plane burned after crash, so that almost all parts are unrecognizable . We found parts from 13 and 20mm ammo, and from some documents we think that must be Bf-109, but some
old people said that in plane was two pilots......

I have a bank of these from a Harvard. There are 4 in a stack with a central hole and Bakelite cast into the edge.. We also have the control cable thats fits in the groove and remains of the pulley stand that clamped onto the airframe.

They were pulley wheels for guiding the control cables.
