I'll keep this short: have you considered adding text that displays when you click a hero at the selection screen? It would help those new to the game to choose a hero, and just makes sense, as people are used to seeing a brief description of a hero before they select it (as they are usually purchased from taverns). Just simple things like
Ronin
-A wandering samurai proficient in wind-based attacks. A good damage-dealer and chaser.
Yari Samurai
-A spear-wielding samurai. Slow but tough.
Warlord
-Primarily a spellcaster. Equally good at pushing and killing heroes.
Those are pretty crappy descriptions, but they are just examples.
This would also allow you to have class names that would otherwise be too obscure. Using an example from Metal Sonic's hero suggestion,
Shikaku
-An assassin specialising in sand-based attacks. Has many powerful and devious abilities.

Good idea, plus it could help encourage an indecisive player pick a hero, short descriptions are perfect for stuff like that.
