well here goes with the greatist optimism that someone as well as bernhard will reply to this plee for help.
i am having great difficulty in the removal of the following from my alfa.
1. rear brake drums: with various heavy pullers and self made extractors i cannot get the rear drums to move on the keyed drive shaft.
is there a trick to it???
2. at the rear of the gearbox there is a similar situation with the housing for the universal joint. when the joint is removed there remains a large nut which holds the housing (04-3428) on to the gearbox shaft (04-3423). after removing this nut the keyed shaft is visible . no puller that i can find will remove the housing.
HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
this is one of the reasons that i joined the praga forum; someone else out there must have got their hands dirty at one time! ...surely?

Hallo Steve,
die Bremstrommel ging bei meinem Fahrzeug leicht herunter. Mutter raus, äusseres Lager raus und ein paar Hammerschläge und schwupp ...
In deinem Fäll, setze mal einen Abzieher an, dreht ihn in der Spannung richtig hoch und dann gib der Bremstrommel mal ein paar kräftige Schläge mit einem schweren Gummihammer. Sollte sie sich immer noch nicht lösen, versuche es mal mit Abzieher ansetzen und Wärmezufuhr. Also Trommel schnell erwärmen, die Achse möglichst nicht. Auch hier immer mal ein Kräftiger Hammerschlag auf die Trommel.
Bei dem Getriebe kann ich dir leider nicht helfen da ich deine Frage nicht wirklich verstehe ..

Ein Versuch ist es wert ....
i tady jde s greatist optimismu, že někdo, stejně jako Bernhard bude odpověď na tuto plee o pomoc.
Mám velké problémy s odstraněním těchto z mého alfa.
1. zadní brzdové bubny: s různými těžkými stahováky a samostatně se odsávací I can't get zadní bubny přejít na vyťukala hnací hřídel.
Je tam nějaký trik na to??
2. na zadní části převodovky je podobná situace s bydlením pro univerzální kloub. je-li společný odstraněn zůstává velkou matici, která drží bydlení (04-3428) na hřídel (04-3423). Po odstranění tohoto matice klíčovaný hřídel je vidět. ne stahovák, že se mi podaří najít odstraní bydlení.
HELP !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
toto je jeden z důvodů, proč jsem se připojil v praze fórum, protože někdo jiný tam dostali, musí mít špinavé ruce najednou! ... jistě?

hello bernhard,
thank you for the quick answer and for translating the question.
i removed the front hubs a few weeks ago in the manner that you suggested.
first the outer bearing then a strong puller.
the rear drums are the problem; first i could not find a hub puller large enough for the 130mm wheel bolt circle. the only one would not accept the 84mm hub tower that holds the grease cap.
i had to weld up a puller from strong angle iron but that began to bend under load even with heat on the drum where you suggested and still no luck.
at the moment the rear axle is stood vertically on its end so that penetrating oil can hopefully soak down into the shaft and i will try again in a few days with the heat again.
i wish i could post a photo of the gearbox problem to explain better but the upload seems to not work for my computer skills!
at the end of the output shaft from the gearbox is a carrier (kardangelenkkulisse) for the universal joint (kardangelenk) to the propellor shaft (kardanwelle).
with the securing nut and washer removed every effort to pull the carrier off the gearbox shaft fails. that is where i am stuck.

eines weiter unten klicke auf "Durchsuchen" Es geht ein Frame auf.
Jetzt musst du nur noch wissen, wo du das Beild auf deinem PC gespeichert hast und es dort anklicken. Somit hast du den Pfad mitgeteilt.
Dann noch auf "öffen" oder "upload" und der PC läd das Bild auf den ImageShack.Server hoch.
Dann kopierst du den direkten Pfad der dir dort angegeben wird und fügst ihn im Text ein.
Jetzt markierst den Pfad im Text nochmals und klickst oben auf Img und es wird automatisch [ img] ...... [ /img] an den Pfad angehängt. Dann schicke den Text nur noch wie gewohnt ab

Steve hat mir heute die Bilder gemailt. Wenn ich es richtig verstanden habe, hat er das Problem mit dem Getriebe gelöst, das Problem mit der Hinterachse ist in Bearbeitung. Wer ihm noch helfen kann, bitte antwortet ihm.
