Rolf,
this stamp was used on US aircraft parts. Found this on Boeing B-17G parts from crash sites.

Unfortunatelly we had no success to identify the type of aircraft and because of this I searched again and found a small plate with several numbers. Together with the part you can see a drawing with the numbers because very difficult to read.
There is the folloeing number: 513359 12 and 2 stamps.
One stamp is with an M and an L and 894. The other one shows an M and 204.
I also believe it is American and I guess the parts belonged to a Black Widow or a P-38.
Hope you can help. Thanks a lot
Rolf

The little "385" stamp is a Northrop Aircraft stamp. Definitely tags the part as from an American aircraft. Northrop built engine nacelles for the B-17 under contract. The other little part has the right prefix to be P-61 but the other part from the same site does not.

Please note, this digit "385" is a part of a inspector´s stamp, its not a part number. The digit is the code of the inspector who checked this part after then he signed it with his stamp.
