If you don't mind, I'll just use this thread as a list of things you'd like changed or added to the map. :)
1. The Yumi Archer passive icon, I can do that right away actually.
2. Smaller/edited trees? You mentioned this on wc3campaigns, if you want me to fix that, I can do it soon too.
3. I was thinking, you're using the Pandaren buildings, and one of the skins is HUGE. Did you compress it any? (I think it was around 650 kbs unaltered) I can save soem seriosu filesize by shrinknig it a bit if you'd like.
Anyone else who thinks the heroe's icons or soemthing could be themed a bit better (Yumi Archer is a blue-ish theme, for example), I can talk to nooK and see if I can alter the icons to fit better in any way.
General comments on the models are also appreciated. Do you like the Tower's model? We tried to get an archer that would move in the tower, but sadly, it failed :(

I like the tower model just fine. I was a bit disappointed not to see the archer (having read your discussion about putting in a moving archer), but hey, they're just towers; no one expects them to be mindblowing or anything. :P

Yes it would be good. Keep the style and make it shorter I think would be the best.

Yes they are compressed 220kb I think.

Ok, here's your icon :) It's not in blp format now though, you'll need to convert it to blp.
I'm thinking about updating the Yumi Archer's arrow rain model too, I'll add a small explosion and sounds to it, is this okay? I think I'll try the Magic Trap again too, I tihnk I know why the particles went weird when I changed them.

Sorry fro the double psot, but the tree is ready, it's quite a bit shorter and the branches are smaller too. The arrow is nearly ready, here's what it does on death now (it also makes a sound!):

(Eek! Again! If you'd like me to stop double posting, it's no problem, I think this is a little important though.)
I've fixed the Yumi Archer's Magic Trap model, it has particles that go along with her other abilities now. :wink:

Hmm, the Oni does have attachment points on those locations, is there a mistake in the spell maybe? I'm worknig on an alternate version of the EliteArcher now too, with teamcolour armour. Also, I've nearly finished a quicksand effect for my hero, I tihk it looks pretty good.

A minor quibble (I fear I may become known for minor quibbles, but oh well :P): I only just noticed that the Yari Ashigaru currently have daisho (katana and wakizashi) depicted on their models. As they are not samurai, they should not have these. (It is appropriate for the Yari Cavalry to have them, though, as they would have been samurai.)
I would not mention so small a thing except I know that it would be very easy to change. :P

I have noticed this as well, I assume it's just for the looks, but nooK never mentionned, so I left them. If he wants me to take them off, that's great, it will same some polies and be more accurate. :P

Well it's not like it seriously hinders enjoyment of the game, but if something can be made more historically accurate with next to no effort (the daisho is a on a different mesh even), I don't see why it shouldn't be done.

Huh? Samurai would carry their daisho even if they rarely used them (as was really the case in war).

Here's a guy I've been maknig, just a normal Samurai with the teamcolour armour. Don't mind the corpse, it will be in it's proper palce when it's done. Perhaps he could be a mercenary in future versions?

hi!
well i really like Yumi (i like any bow :D ) but theres a little thing what hurts my eyes sometimes.... if she starts too shoot, the bow is still in that shape when she just keep it in her hands... the bow is not flexible. Sry but im not good at mapmaking, no idea how to fix it :/

hmm and only one other thing what wasnt good. The way is too long from the base to the outposts. There may be some other teleporters, or a speed aura that works only near the base.

There is currently a way to move more quickly between the base and the outposts - very quickly, in fact. In the main base, at the Temple, you are able to purchase a "Scroll of Teleportation" for 350 gold. This item will allow you to teleport to any friendly unit or structure - expensive at the start, but worth it to save an outpost.
Also, in version 0.85, there will be the option to build a Shrine of Calling. This will allow you to teleport your hero to the outpost/dojo where the shrine is located, again very quickly but this time without the 350 gold cost or use of an item slot.
Because those two options are in place, it's very good that there's a reasonably large distance between the base and outposts. It allows for more use of tactics and diversion of enemy attention, instead of 'everyone's in the same place at the same time so let's fight' style gameplay.
...I HAVE noticed how the yumi's bow doesn't bend though. No idea whether that would be difficult to impliment or not, but I'd be suitably impressed if it were made to happen. :)

Do even the various archer models in WC3 have bows that bend? If they do, I haven't noticed it.
I would be even more impressed if the bows in SL were asymmetrical, as real yumi are, but I think we can all agree that that would be a waste of time to implement. :wink:

Has anyone else noticed that all the heroes are like walking dead? They NEVER blink their eyes :shock: . Would it affect size much for MS or some1 else to add them blinking eyes?
Now that I think of it, most units in wc3 don't blink I guess. Still would be nice if our guys did.

MS64 went inactive on Wc3 modding. Tha´s what slows down the whole process a lot :cry:
