Hi guys,
i'm looking for 8 people with level 80+ chars to farm some medals in the battleground. Why? Because battleground weapons, which you get in exchange for those medals, are superb against demi human enemies.
Example:
Assassin Damascus (Bravery)
-STR + 1
-AGI + 1
-ATK vs. demi-human monster +75%.
-Reduces the physical defense of demi-human monsters by 20%
-When used by Ninja, Rogue, Stalker Class it adds MATK + 15%
-Indestructible
-Weight: 0
Of course there are more and other weapons, all perfect for battle against demi-humans. Anyone interested in getting one of these let me know.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
All battleground equipments and the Bravery/ Valor Medals are ACCOUNTBOUND, so there's no chance swapping them around. You can put them in your storage, but not in a cart. Also, you can not trade or mail the items.

I can bring along Bruce or Oprheus, not sure if Art is much use (and he has no real use for the weapons either I fear). My Hunter, Bill, is closing on level 80 too).

Let's comment this due to my experience:
1) Champion or Monk will be mostly a defending character.
2) GC Crusader is useless in the battleground
3) Hunter should do fine, but his job will mostly be hazarding the enemy with hit and run

1. You enter to Preparing Area via NPC. Here you meet people and NPCs
2. You choose a battlefield by NPC and get warped to:
3. a waiting room where you enter the chat as fast as you can
4. when 11/11 in chat and same on enemy side all get warped to battleground
5. You sit down and wait till the fight ends or you try to destroy a flag or the food storage of the enemy (you may also PvP if u want)
6. when the fight ends all get warped to an NPC. Talk to him to get your medal (how many depends if win of lost)
7. You get warped to Preparing Area and start again (after short delay)

If my reading of the details is correct you might win medals a bit faster if you can actually help you side win, rather than just sit and wait ;)
Although I wonder if it works like some other games I've seen where the fastest way to win such tokens is to actively help the other side win - that way you can get the losers value much much faster than you would get the winners... (apparently in one of the realm v realm games - I forget which one) you could make a lot of money by self destructing very quickly in this kind of event... you'd get only a few points compared with the winners, but you'd get zeny too - and the points add up when you lose quickly and often :D )
A couple of little questions - does anyone know what element/race the opponents 'flag' (target you must destroy) is? And am I correct that you don't lose XP when you die in battlegrounds?
If you need another character to make up numbers simply let me know, Got level 80+ chars on both accounts.

Yes, but I told myself I'd rather quit than participate in any kind of PvP. And I like the game :(
