The news are wrong, we got only the item "quests". (Which makes sense, why would they implement something that's good for party play?)

Yeah I've heard its only item turn ins which actually makes it a bit better because that's what can help to level hard to level chars or chars which are not your mains.
Manah what do you mean by why would they implement something that is good for party play? you mean monster hunt is good for party play or what?

both item turn ins and hunting can be good for party play it only depends on players attitude. on the other hand though people who do not have that many friends and are often solo can find those quests as a big advantage too which is good. its good for everyone.

It's good for people who like party for playing together (like us), but most players just do whatever gives them the most exp. And you don't need anyone to collect the items (especially since you can buy some of them from NPC shops).

The monster hunting quest are good for partyplay, yes. Every party member on the same screen raises the kill count, so you actually get a lot more exp if you play together with others.

That's why I hoped they would implement both quests (the dryads my monk killed for 50 leaves would have given her 3-4 times as much exp as the leaves).

Hopefully they will implement both :) They are both useful in different way - and with a guild full of rogues anything that involves stolen common items being good will make lots of people happy :D
However I've just done the maths on anolian skins and we are getting a lot less XP that in iRO (if iRO wiki tables are to be believed).
We seem to get for 50 skins half the base amount iRO gives for 20 skins (and iRO gives a 1.25 multiplyer for the premium ie pay server as well). So 1/5th (then divided by a further 1.25) of the XP per skin.
300 skins got Eleanor from 58.273 base and 44.255 job up to 59.064 base and 44.778 job.
This works out at 689 base and 433 job per skin, compared ot the iRO wiki table listing of 4309 / 2706 base/job respectively...
This might be deliberate, might be an error, I guess we find out if anything is patched further next week... but might be worth collecting but not using until next Thursday just in case we are about to get a boost...

Hi everyone,
Since I speak portuguese, I was checking the Brazilain server BRO. The exp quest there is only one week per month (Like IRO before, not anymore). But the good news is:
70-85 normal class will use around 8 thousand antelope horns.
Which will cost around 4million zeny.
Leveling from 70-85 this way, you will achieve job 50.
The great news: 70-85 Rebirth will use 20 thousand antelope horns
Which will cost around 10million zeny.
If you are donating the guild 50%, you need to use double of the antelope horns. It is a great way to help guild leveling, and great way to level rebirth job as well.
Antelope horns you can buy in Niffeheim (Never know the right spelling)
Last night I asked in the euro forum how long the quest will stay, and today the GM answered saying that the quest will stay for a long time.
I hope this was some sort of help to the members.

The iRO NPC doesn't sell goat horns (I heard he never did, but not sure), I just hope they won't remove them here...
Btw, iRO Wiki didn't change the exp rewards on their site. This was the old quest before Gravity realized it was too easy and changed it^^

Dys got 2,5% for the sharp leaves (with 2% tax). Don't know how much exp it is though^^

Are you sure it's the same for euRO? Many players here were talking about ~7 mio for non-rebirth chars.

Hi Manah - what base level was Dys when she got the 2.5% ?
If people can just list levels as
xx.yyy / aa.bbb
base.percentage / job percentage
before and after, and then which quest (and any tax they pay)
Then I'll do the rest once we've got several quests scouted out.
Also listing which NPC and how many items needed for the quest will let me make a table with all the information possible.

Tried it again, Dys got 131234 base exp. 128610 (2.2% at level 85) for herself, 2624 tax (with 2% tax rate). 2624.68 base exp per leaf.
I took the exp amount from the charselect screen and the guild, so it should be correct.
Someone on RoCards said she had to give 50 goat horns until level 74, and 40 after that.

Quick update on the numbers...
It looks as though just under 13.6k goat horns will level a character from level from 70-85.
So you can buy that at ~7mz in niffl (with discount)
As a matter of interest, earning 7mz from dokkaebi horns whilst getting to level 70 (with thief/rogue especially) should not be too difficult :D
To me this seems useful as I find it is often in the 75-85 area where characters can hit a levelling wall - getting bored of some places, but not quite strong enough to level easily in others...
