Hi,

this armour plate is from a Lancaster3.I suppose by means of the form that the a.p. is from the cockpit section.

Holger, This might be part of the armour plate that was fitted onto the armoured door in behind the front spar in the Lancaster. I am waiting for confirmation from a friend.

Holger,
I just had a confirmation email this morning that this is from a Rear FN20 gun turett. There should be 3 bits that protect the gunners legs and backside.
