    dkp
I think, we need very clear rules on who gets dkp and who doesnt and once we decided which way to handle this, stick to it very strictly.

As some of you might have noticed, there has been some complaint by Twooz for not getting dkp for Thursday's afternoon run. He joined the raid at 16:05 because some rogue went offline and stayed till the end.

In my opinion, the last deadline for ppl to get dkp should be 16:00 because everything later just makes other raiders wait, who were on time and delays the raid. Ofc 5 minutes are not an awful lot of time, but I think we need to draw very clear lines.

My suggestion with this dkp awarding is that only ppl who join before 16:00 (half an hour after invites) and stay until either the goal of the run is achieved, or the disband time is reached, get dkp. Otherwise i think it would be unfair for those who are always there on time and stay till the end. I dont really see the big problem, as our dkp system only gives you a slight advantage and thereby, it's more important to be there to be able to roll than to be there to farm dkp.

Quote: I voted for the strict one, BUT:

I just came late coz the RAID needed a Replacement, it was not MY fault that the raid was NOT full when I came online.
Further i only see slight sense in what u r writing, for example:
The raid doesnt get full until 1600, so u (grohar) ask if i plz could join so the raid gets full (although i didnt want to join), i do u a favor and say: "u know what mate, i like u, i will help u" so u invite me at 16:15, what than?!? i wont get DKP?!?

Look the problem here is quite easy,... u can NOT punish people with not getting DKP if they r doing the raid a "favor". And with favor i mean: helping that the raid gets full.

U still didnt answer my question: is it FAIR or UNFAIR that a replacement gets or doesnt get DKP?!? In my opinion it is NOT fair if a replacement doesnt get DKP, coz it was NOT the fault of the replacement, but the fault of the person who left!!!

For not getting this whole topic escalating i got the following suggestion for u:
    1. Everyone gets DKP who particpates for the raid from BEGINNING untill THE END (so if raid is full at 16:30 and is dibanded at 23:00 everybody gets dkp who was there from the beginning until the end)

    2. Everyone who leaves or joins the raid after the beginning and before the end gets only HALF of the DKP (so if i join after 10mins u where already in ZG and killed mobs i get 50% DKP and if I leave the raid 10mins before it is officially disbanded i do only get 50% DKP) my examples may be hard in this one case but it goes with your STRICT opinion which is perfectly fine with me.

I would very appreciate some constructive feedback to my opinion/posts (am i completly out of my mind, or am i right?!?)

Dont get me wrong twooz, I really like it when you join, but it's not like the raid depends on you. There are many randoms out there (who definitely play worse) who would love to fill up the raid, so if you dont want to join, or just want to do me a favor, it's very decent of you, but please dont join then. You should join because you want to do ZG.

    And about the fairness:
The fairest thing would probably be to set up a formula that calculates dkp by the time spent and wipes had, but I'm not willing to administrate this. If We'd apply your system, I see a lot of "fairness problems". Is it fair, that if someone was there the whole raid, but leaves at 17:30, another one hops in and gets the same amount of dkp for 1 boss try? I dont think so.

And I simply dont like the idea of rewarding eplacements/leavers with dkp because it is not something i want to encourage.

This is NOT comparable with the stormraid system, where they ofc reward replacements, but the raids take 4hrs+.

    Hope I answered your questions
