Unless silence arises from your very being, is not imposed from without or the within but comes just the other way round—it comes, wells up from the within towards the without, rises from the center towards the circumference ... That is a totally different phenomenon.

Inzwischen liebe ich die Stille sehr.
Ich verstehe darunter, daß der Verstand zur Ruhe gekommen ist.
Wenn auch nur für einen Moment lang.
