    Are we going to be making our own hero ideas ect, or do you make them and run throught the general audience. Also, if u need a hand with PHPBB, give me a buzz.

    Hi man.. i just played the map with a couple of friends and they loved it!... we understand it's on its early development, but still, i would like to help you with anything i can to make this a great map.. it has great potential... i have a couple of ideas to make it more fun to play... If ur interested, just let me know :)

    well, this the post hero thread soo, here is mine


    Sennin Samurai (Sennin = wise? im a jap noob)

    Hero Name: MuneyosiYagyu (the original name, i dont know a better)
    Primary Attribute: Intelligence
    Strength Bonus per Level: 2
    Agility Bonus per Level: 2
    Intelligence Bonus per Level: 3

    Spells


    Typhon

    "... When the wind dance into the storm..." (i know... its stupid^^)

    A tunnel of wind that ripples out from the Hero, causing damage to land units in a line, also pushes enemies out of the typhon.
    (like shockwave but pushes enemies, for the model you can use the naga Tornado in horizontal position)
    lvl1 deal 100 dmg, and push enemies.
    lvl2 deal 150 dmg, and push enemies.
    lvl3 deal 200 dmg, and push enemies.
    lvl4 deal 250 dmg, and push enemies.


    Wind Strike

    "...a gift from the wind..." (lol)

    the hero jumps tonward the enemy and deal
    lvl1 x1.5 dmg.
    lvl2 x2.0 dmg.
    lvl3 x2.5 dmg.
    lvl4 x3.0 dmg.
    (i planned it to be like one animation of "blade massacre" when the hero jumps tonward the enemie hero,"blade massacre" can be found at wc3sear.ch)


    Wise moves

    "The young enters in the battle with courage and strength, but the old think twice before doing so..."

    The hero is a old Samurai that use his inteligence as a weapon in combat, calculating enemie moves before they do so.
    Gives evasion based on the inteligence of the hero, like this:
    lvl1 20% of the hero inteligence is given as evasion.
    lvl2 30% of the hero inteligence is given as evasion.
    lvl3 40% of the hero inteligence is given as evasion.
    lvl4 50% of the hero inteligence is given as evasion.


    Wiser than the wise

    "The fool dont think he is wise, but the wise man knows himself to be a fool." (Shakespeare, lol)

    Deal mental damage to the target that weakens enemies spirit.
    (like mana burn with high dmg)
    I suggest:
    lvl1 deal 200 dmg.
    lvl2 deal 300 dmg.
    lvl3 deal 400 dmg.

    heheh sorry, i ment by the early stage that it's currently on version 0.7 :D i can see you have put more love into this despite the fact that it only has 7 (???) upggades

    nice hero idea you have there, unique int-dependant evasion skill

    lots of synergies can be done here

    typhoon+wind strike or synergy with mercs. blink behind then typhoon attack the target with the mercs. nice job

    P.S. 5 levels each skill :P

    hmmm the heroes omg u must chanege the ultimate on the strong samurai with 2000 hp . I mean turning in to a monster ....... :?

    Yari is fine. All his attacks are melee based forcing him to fight slowly. His only damage attack generally 'saves' the target more then hinders them, and he has no stuns to allow him to actually hit them. With any other hero, you could literally just torture the Tank by using your skills to scratch him, and running away. Only reason why he'd be overpowered is if you thought you could beat him in a normal attack fight.

    Speaking as someone who mainly plays the Yari Samurai I can tell you for a fact that he is nowhere near unbalanced. The Yari requires patience and a defensive mindset. His offensive powers are weak at best and the only saving grace in that field is the fact that Whirl may be used for positional manipulation. What he is designed to do is take damage, lots of damage, and generally not die with any frequency if you play him well. He is slow, he moves with purpose, he manipulates and defends but does not instigate conflict, usually. If you have died to a Yari it is not because he has a great deal of HP but rather because you were stupid, extremely unlucky, extremely unskilled, or the Yari was assisted by a teammate. Yaris are best used to defend groups of purchased units, to make extended pushes on towers with their life extenders, or simply to stall enemy heroes. They perform their function very well in all regards.

    Also, if you consider his HP to be an unbalancing factor perhaps you should look at the Shinobi who can become nearly impossible to kill in the late game. He has the ability to tank entire enemy armies with ease and is more at home in large crowds of enemy units than one on one.

    Yes that`s exactly how Yari works.

    Notice for the new version:
    -> Damage of Sha`Technique increased.
    -> Removed movement speed reduction from Battlerage
    -> Whirling Yari pauses the pushed unit during the push

    Overall, a buff for Yari, but not a big one.
