Unknown parts and numbers of Short Stirling III ?
    Hi all,

I receive this photos for a identification. The first part (made of brass) is exactly the same part I found on a Wellington V crash site.
With the name of the crash site from this parts here, I have found in my data base only a Short Stirling III. Up to now there are no typical Stirling part numbers to find. Maybe someone can help to identify the parts and the part numbers ?

    Regards
    Nils

This is the same part I found on a Wellington crash site

    Hi all,

the letter "D" in the part numbers indicates a Avro Lancaster. The "D" means this part is from fuselage structure.

The insepectors stamp "RY55" indicates the Lancaster was build by Avro at Yeadon / Leeds.

(Thanks to "Fluffy" and Alan Clark from "Keypublishingforum" !)

    Regards
    Nils
