Hello Ladies and Gentlemen of the Tribe,
my name is Basiac, also known by the name of "lighthouse warrior" as indeed I like to spend some of my time in the beautiful lighthouse of Thais. That doesn't bring me much exp and fame, but I like the quiet atmosphere there even if some ppl may think it queer for a lvl 102 to be there.
Some of you may know that originally I come from the sunken island of Sagon. An unbelievable catastrophe destroyed this island and I came to Tibia in September 2001. I made my home in Thais and own a small flat there ever since it was possible to rent houses.
Over the years I wandered around Tibia a lot and found other Sagon survivors. For the past five years I was very happy in this "family" we simply called Sagon - always in remembrance of our beautiful ex-homeland. But now many of my fellow Sagons either spend their whole time sleeping or found new homes, families, guilds. So I was alone most of the last months.
As some of my fellow Sagons (like Tychoneus, Uldur Balzoin) found a new home in Tribe I decided yesterday (after a long and nice talk with Hugh Black) to try the same. In my heart I will always be Sagon, but it's a feeling you could best compare with a pleasant memory. For day to day life that isn't enough. So here I am, offering friendship in exchange for the same
Why Tribe and no other guild? That's easy: I need people around me who are on the same wavelength and who don't think I'm nuts when I talk about my style of being here in Tibia. Some of the people in Tribe I know and like for a very long time now (like Tycho and most of the "Amsterdam gang") so Tribe was the logical choice when I was thinking about letting Sagon sleep for good.
Some more technical data about me: I am a paladin, lvl 102 now, swordfighter and solo-hunter most of the time (although I have some basic knowledge on how to handle an x-bow and aim a spear too). I normally hunt monsters that I can handle with sword but I like guildhunts too - not to actually get exp but to see caves I would not dare to enter alone.
I will stopp here before you fall asleep reading *grins* but if you are interested in other details about me, just ask me ingame.

P.S. I sign Basic because that was my original name (got a namelock some six years ago I still don't understand) so I changed my name into Basiac - but I still think of myself as Basic (and old friends like Tycho keep calling me that).

Nothing wrong Hughie, I am just more rl busy, which I find good for old Rncie ;) But soon I will be back to tell you some of my pub stories again.

Thanks for your reactions to the little story of my life. It's nothing special but that's okay for me because my life isn't special either... Nice that you like it :)

Ah, perhaps a little RL-info: I am German, female and work as a freelancer in public relations and journalism. When I'm not at the comp, I like motorbiking, drawing and all kind of outdoor activities :)

Thanks a lot for inviting me into your family :) I thank all the Tribeswomen and -men I had the pleasure to meet so far for their warm welcome. It's been only a day now, but you made me feel at home already - a big thank you for that too :)
