On the last photo I noticed part of a plate with text PATEN
    AIRESEA LOS ANG.

I think this was located on a part made by Garrett AiResearch, which was founded in Los Angeles in 1936.
    Check link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Garrett_Systems

Garrett also manufactured turbochargers for aircraft engines.

    Some ideas
    Some ideas to help,

Pic 3 : Seems to be a box for flying instrument. (instrument panel)
    Pic 4 :
    - right upper corner : Gun sight for 12,7mm. (Could come from waist gunner)
    - Lower rank, 2nd part from the right : Looks like crank for rod
Pic 6 : upper left corner : Clamp.

    Stef,

I think this is not correct. It´s not a gun sight from Browning Cal. 50.
It look like more than a ring from fuel or oil system.
I cannot see a part from crank of rod here... :n66:

Here a drawing of a Browning Cal. .50 Waist gun (B-17G)

    Regards
    Nils
