    Nils,
P.B. would be lead in English
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lead

Nic.Sil. i think is nickel silver. an alloy of copper with nickel and sometimes zinc

Thanks for your help, guys !

I do not think that P.B. means "Lead".
Here a example of one of a part from "Automatic Boost Control Assembly":

Part No. E.36677: Bush, isolating valve, Material P.B.

A other unknown material: "Dixtampo" (Cover and Casing)

    Nils

Nils i agree. now i see what it was used for i suggest PB is Phosphor bronze.

    Hi Nils and Roy.
Roy you are right on PB and you just beat me to it.Phosphor bronze bushes was used in a wide range of mechanical aplications.Where you have a steel shaft that rotates on bushes/supports of PB in damp or wet conditions these were ideal as they were self lubricating and required very little maintinance and less chance of seizing up.These bushes were used in the motor industry from the early thirties upto about the late sixties, then went over to nylon/plastic.
