Hi,
I wonder where this part was attached. Any ideas? Slightly visible number 468 visible on this part. Notice oryginal blue paint preserved on this part.

this part looks like as a part of an rip from wing or elevator.

Here a example from a Fw190 wing:

Hi,
Holes in wing rips in FW 190 are oval and in Me 410 are circular. This part could be from the very end of the wing. If so why there's blue paint on it (part was placed inside the wing and didn't need painting)?

As you see, the drawing I had posted, is an example.
But the form of the hole is the same ;)

Why do you think all the holes in the wing rips of a Me410 are circular ?


The inside of this part was only painted with a primer.

I wasn't precise :???: I mean that most of the holes are circular (like this one on the photo) but there are also oval holes (I've put a red dot near one of them on the previous photo).



Yes, it's painted with primer but there's also some blue paint which misleaded me ;) Well, this part is badly twisted and I failed to notice that the part with blue paint was in fact riveted to the primer painted part. So it's just preserved element of airplane body covering the wing from below. :)

Hi
Another idea on the blue paint Where internal panels could be visable from the outer skin ,example the wheel wells on the underside of wings they were painted same colour.So was the colour scheme on the ME410 blue on the underside of wings?
