    My Greetings to Sagon. <application>
    Be Greeted
<Bows> I thank you all for taking the time to listen to this old mages words.

My birth name is David Grimes, Son of Alchid; I’m but a humble monk in search of inner peace and tranquility. Times have changed and with change a persons goals and needs change to suit the times. This as well goes for brotherhoods and guilds. I was once the proud leader of the Knights of the Round Table, a brother in arms To friends an family. Alas my time within the beloved ranks of the KrT has come to an end. It is time for the youth to take their turn and shape the old girl in their image. My ideals of peace and diplomacy do not coincide with the pride of their youth.

My tale is but, of a simple nature.

As a child I always found physical actives to be tiresome and with out rewards. Most of the time my face could be found deep in though with a book in hand. Knowledge was my cause, my purpose. My father was not all approving of my devotion to knowledge. As a royal archer to the king he always dreamed of me following his foot steps, learning the fine art form of the long bow. Banor knows I tried my best to please him; alas I lacked the drive and physical skill to do it.

As the years went by my hunger grew harder to quench. Carlin simply lacked the means and libraries
To satisfy my quest for knowledge. One evening I found myself returning home feeling a loss of purpose,
I simply could not continue on this way. There was something missing. I found a restless night of sleep that evening. Upon wakening I came to a realization, it was time for me to venture forth and see the world an all it’s glory. There was little left I could learn in my sheltered life in the City. Elation and fear racked my soul as I prepared for my journey in to the great Unknown. Little did I know at that time but I was far too weak an ill prepared to make this journey a hard lesson I learned very quick

Lonely nights an trying days of traveling began to exhaust my frail body. The lust to find my purpose was all that kept me going forward. Even though it was at a slow pace I trudged on. One evening I crumbled to the ground: I could go no further this evening. I didn’t even have the strength to remove my backpack from my shoulders. Sleep came faster then I could have ever expected. I could not tell how long I slept or how well. I found myself when. I awoke near a warming fire with the sweat smell of rabbit stew; my pack was on the ground next to me an I was covered with a traveling cloak. As I looked around I heard a powerful voice say “ahh ! Your awake little one. I hope you don’t mind sharing this camp with an old man. There is strength in numbers in the wild lands. Come eat you’ll need your strength if you wish to move forward tomorrow” Urge and necessity took away my fear as I moved closer and began to eat. As I sat there eating I finally took the time to view this man. He wore a brown weather beaten cloak with his hood drawn high. The one feature that stood out was his eyes. They held a great power witch showed true enlightenment. We talked for sometime that evening before we both turned in for the night. I found out his name was Elleshar a man trained in the arts of magic. My experiences with mages at this point were very little due to their reclusive nature.

It would seem Elleshar was traveling in the same direction as me. In such a strange way it would seem I have found a traveling companion. In the nights we talked mostly of the nature and abilities of mages. Slowly I was starting to understand where my heart was leading me. I spent the next few years under the tutelage in the arcane arts under the guidance of Elleshar. We searched far and wide for Libraries in witch to further our craft and broaden our knowledge of the world surrounding us. As do all teachers and pupil relations go they always come to an end. Our paths forked and his road was one my soul could not follow.

During my studies my faith was beginning to follow the principles and teachings of Banor, while ellleshar began down a path of darkness. My control over the magic arts was growing with each day and with this inner strength growing my body was also gaining strength. I was finally prepared to go my road of self purpose to bring the words of Banor to those that gave me the time an ear to listen.

    - We will only recruit friends.
If you dont have at least one good friend in our guild, dont bother to apply.

I call some in Sagon friends a word I do not use lightly an I call them dear friends. these would be Natures Lord, Lothlorian, an Arsus Redsuit.
