Eighteen years ago a young boy of twelve journeyed from America to the strange island of Rookgaard. It was his first time to a world so strange, but immediately he knew it was where he belonged. He picked up a sword and cast aside his old name, becoming Ryan Orckiller. For years he honed his skills, slaying beast from troll to orc to cyclopse. He steeled himself against the dangers of Tibia, prepared for every journey, every battle. However, he could never have for the betrayal of one of his closest friends.
A knife in his back, he laid naked, bleed, on the brink of death in the depths of Fibula; there he thought his journey had ended, until a hand wrapped in furs lifted him back into the light. Ryan awoke in druidic halls of Ab'Dendriel. The druids trained Ryan, rebirthing him. With his training complete he set out into the world to find himself again; the druids bestowed upon him the name of Idas.
Idas journeyed south, eventually finding his way to the small town of Greenshore. There, a bustling clan hall filled with laughter and merriment drew him in. Great warriors and leaders resided in this hall, they accepted Idas into their ranks. Soon he found himself fighting along side them, spilling blood and sharing victorious drinks, and eventually helping lead them. This carried on for years through the golden age of Tibia. But, as time grew each warrior found his own path; the halls of Icewind fell silent, the drinks no longer flowed, and only on rare occasions would these old friends join each other in battle.
Taking the values he had learned in Icewind, Idas travelled looking to help others. He settled back in Ab'Dendriel, selling runes and passing time with old and new friends. However a day came when Idas witnessed one in power abusing the citizens of Ab'Dendriel. He took a stand, the battle was arduous, but he prevailed... at a cost. The powers to in Ab'Dendriel saw this as an affront, killing one of their own regardless of the circumstances.
They hunted Idas to the ends of Tibia, chasing him all the way back to the island of Rookgaard. So, Idas found himself at the brink of death, where his journey began. He looked back at the distant setting sun, and stepped through the portal, back to his home in America.
Eight years later, Alex found the memories of swords and spells calling to him. He has stepped back into Tibia, finding a whole new world ready to explore. In his recent journeys, he has heard word of old friends. They have found a new clan, a Tribe of their own. Idas hopes to reconnect with these old friends as he tries to make his way in this new world. All he is looking for is some merriment and a chance to help others. |
