for me neither, but doesn´t this give us a little hope ??? They do also have skin problems and cellulite - LOL - so why are men haunting after those women, when they can have us ???

I've seen this ad before. Isn't it great that Dove are actually doing something about image issues in young women? It's certainly a relief to know that we're not really expected to live up to this!

yes, but Dove seems to be the only one ... we just had another "Germany´s next topmodel" show on TV and the girls do look so good and they are so skinny ... that´s what the young girls want to be !!! It´s a shame !

I'm not surprised - I don't think I saw any overweight people in all of Europe when I was there! *lol* But seriously, those shows are disturbing.
Dove actually has its own campaign celebrating real women here in Oz, showing normal sized women in their underwear, etc. It was very refreshing. And, you're right, more companies should be following their example. I know a lot of magazines don't have bigger models on their covers cos they apparently don't sell as well!

Hey I agree with you Mela...too there was an article in a magazine here a while back that said some companies are not even looking at "skinny" girls/women. Unfortunately in todays world - "sex" is a big issue along with big boobs, etc. I would rather have someone like/love me for myself than for my looks.

No wonder anexoria and bulomina are running rampid.....young girls are thinking that have to look like super models and I'll let you in on something - if you don't already know.
Alot of these models are very plain looking when they are out of make-up. In fact you'd not recognize some of them.

oh yes, my ex got involved with wrestling and he told me one time those girls of WWE are really very plain and look so bad - but you put the make-up on (professionally) and wow. Too I found out that these models that are on magazines - they use some form of tech to make them look perfect - they cut away the buldges here and there and they are transformed on paper. Too I've also heard and read that heavy use of make-up like that and plastic surgery does take a toll on ones skin.

let me try this again and maybe my computer system will coperate.
I would rather be liked/loved for me than have someone love/like me for what I look like when I'm all fixed up. To me that id decitful.
Course in the world of men that is easier said than done. I try to take care of myself and keep in shape but I don't put on "airs" for anyone - inparticular a man.
Lot's of guys wonder why they can't find good women - it's because they are constantly looking for the "perfect".
