AUTHOR’S NOTES: It’s Shonen Ai (Love between two boys!). Lime in the last chapter. Some things are taken from the Anime and some from the Manga. It’s a DARK – fic and contains VIOLENCE, SUICIDE and DEATH! The pairing is obvious becaouse of the story.

Too late…

Ch. 1 A lost soul

/I don’t know, why I didn’t began to think about this directly after the fight with Kai. Maybe my thoughts were focused at that time on Yanagi and Recca’s fight with Kurei… and on him! On the only person, who managed to claim my heart.
Why of all people him? Was it because we were so alike? Was it because he had just like me one purpose in life? Was it because… he was the only one who understood me?
Ridiculous! He wouldn’t give his heart someone like me, would he?/

/What is he doing now? It has been a long time since I’ve seen him… In the last time I’ve been hanging around with Fuko and her friends ‘cause I was hoping, I could be with him, but he had nearly never shown up. Since Kurei-sama’s death many things changed. And now I’m with them at the amusement park. Fuko is enjoying her date with Domon!Finally they are together. Recca is happy with Yanagi and Koganei has a new family. After the UraBatoSatsujin Recca’s parents adopted him. I’m glad, that he’s happy now. But one person is missing!
One month has passed since the UraBatoSatsujin and he’s still behaving strange.
Neon-san’s sad, too, but it’s obvious why! The hole Uruha Jushinshu knew, that she loved Kurei-sama! Me and her are the only people left of the Uruha Jushinshu now. I hope she’s Ok. The days I’ve seen her, she was just mourning at Kurei-sama’s grave.
But why does he behave strange? Is it because… no, it can’t be!/

Another day passed. The day was not that bad, but the night would be!


Ch. 2 A letter will tell, what I couldn’t speak out!

/Another day passed. That’s seseless! It’s all the same every day! Wake up in the morning, stay till night and sleep, but some day I won’t be able to wake up again! I wonder when this day will come! On this day I will loose everything! The memories of O-nee-sama, the bad memories of the day I lost her and the memories of him!
But It doesn’t matter anyway!
Kai! He told me the truth! The truth about Meguri-sen… no the truth about Meguri the murderer of my sister! How could he do that? Betrayel… it’s the thing I hate most. The bitter taste of betrayel… I got to know it long ago, when he killed my sister! Just because it would make me more enthusiastic at learning the Hyomon Ken!
I think he will arrive at home soon. Is he gonna read my letter? Maybe he’ll just throw it away… maybe he will be curious, about me writing him a letter, read it and hate me for ever… but even at the risk, that he hates me, writing this letter was right! I wish I could see him at least once…/

Like he thought, the beloved person arrived at home soon. He had a very bad feeling. After he found a letter in his letter-box he entered his house.

/The letter is from Mikagami? Very curious! Why would he write me a letter? It seems to be something serious, so I should sit down.

“I know you wonder, why of all people it would be me, who wrote you a letter! Sorry that I begin directly with the serious stuff, but I have not much time left!
At the beginning of the UraBatoSatsujin we had not much to do with each other, but then I got to know you and you became one of the few people I respect. We had much in common. We were both fighting for the person we respected most! Because of my purpose to avenge my sister’s death I fought in the UraBatoSatsujin. I thought at that time, I would find my sister’s murderer there, but just I thought! You know, what Kai told me! My sister’s murderer was a person I trusted so much! Do you know the taste of betrayel? Do you know the bad feeling, when you find out everything has been a lie? Meguri Kyoza killed the person I loved most! After my sister’s death I thought he was the only person I could trust, but I was wrong! And he killed her because of such a stupid reason! He thought it would raise my will to learn the Hyomon Ken, but that’s not important anymore!
I wasn’t able to avenge my sister’s death! I wasn’t able to fulfil my purpose, so I have no reason to live anymore!
You wonder why I write you this? I wanted to say goodbye!
I wanted to say goodbye to you because you’re the only person exept O-nee-sama I respected after Meguri’s betrayel! I’m sure you won’t show this letter other people.
I trust you!
I respect you!
I love you!
I have to go to a place, I won’t ever return from! Farewell! Forgive me, Raiha!”/


Ch. 3 Together for ever

/NO!!! That’s not true he won’t do that! Please! Don’t do that!!! You don’t know what you’re doing to me!!!/

He left home and ran as fast as he could to Mikagami’s place. He managed to open the door violently.
To late…
Mikagami was lying on the ground blood stained. He had rammed a knive in to his chest. Raiha shivered. He couldn’t believe his eyes! Tears started running down his face.

/He, Mikagami, the person I loved is lying there! Blood stained…
I hurry to get to his side ans kneel beside him; it seems like he can still speak to me. “Mikagami!” I try to speak with soft voice, but I fail. He looks up to me with his nearly lifeless, but beautiful eyes and sees my tears. I don’t know,what he thinks about them. I try to speak to him again!
“Mikagami, I won’t let you die! I’ll call the ambulance. Please hold on!” But he moves his weak hand and encloses mine. “It’s too late.” I don’t want to belive that! It’s not too late! It can’t be too late! “That’s not true. I can’t let you die! How can I live on without you? Heck, I love you! I love you so much, so how can you expect me to live without you?” “I love you, too, Raiha, but my time is over. I wish we could stay together longer, but there is no place for me in this world!” He caresses my cheek with his weak hand and still looks into my eyes!/

Raiha tried to stop crying and managed it to a certain grade. He brought his head down and kissed the one beloved and Mikagami kissed back. It was a long passionated kiss and the last for both. After the kiss when Raiha brought his head up he looked into Mikagami’s blue eyes just to see him close them for the last time.

“If there is no place for you in this world, then there is no place for me either! It won’t take so long! Soon we’ll be together!”

He pulled the knife out of Mikagami’s chest and rammed it in his own.

“Now we’ll be for ever together!”



Thanks for reading folks! That’s the end and this time it’s a short one! I wonder how I managed to write a story without lemon and it’s my first death either!
