How can people actually seriously believe this stuff. I know people who read their star signs everyday, and yet, they still say it's a load of crap. Why bother reading it then?

And for those of you who do believe in star signs, do you know your moon sign?

Astrology has some interesting implications. I find it interesting as an early study of personality types, though the idea that stars control everything (based on the ancient belief that because different stars were visible in different seasons, they controlled the seasons themselves and later, fate in general) is obviously defunct.

And there are no moon signs that I know of, though "star signs" are often called "sun signs."

I read them occasionally because I find them interesting. It's something to do. And, I like coincidences!
Also, my moon sign is Gemini.
And my star sign is Taurus.
Whatever.

I'm very interesting in reading stuff like that, especially numerology and things...It's just for fun, and you can go; Oh me gawd, this is sooo me..
And then if it isn't you.. You go on a lengthy search through the book to find the number/match that does apply to you. And then you read about yourself.
Haha, I dunno..I just like them.

Moon signs as far as I know are basically the same as star signs, except they're far more specific, they are based on what day, and what time you were born, and possibly also where you were born.

I didn't used to believe in astrology but my starsign is uncannily accurate. I don't think the daily ones are true but there is truth in them
