There are so many interesting and wonderful characters but I absolutly adore Armand and always will. He is just so sweet and innocent seeming but underneath it all he is so ruthless. I just love him and the way his character is written about . Although I must say, I find Marius intriguing too

I find Armand kinda scary; he has a history of fundamentalism, easy prey for those with extreme views.
My favorite is Marius, but that's probably because I am rather obsessed with all things Roman, and from what I know it seems that a lot of research has gone into the creation of this character: His mindset is very Roman, and if it wasn't for a (very) few bloopers, I could almost believe he was for real... like many people do.

I really need to read those. Vampires are my favorite monsters.

No, you won't. in these stories the vampires are the heroes. Or, if not heroes, then very human.

But aren't they eerie or freaky or something?

Yes, but not in a way that is meant to scare. They have their moments but are overall written about in an unscary way

Get ready for some frustration. I personally thought they were beautifully written, but a lot of people can't handle all the detail.

Marius, he's just so interesting. He seems so perfect. A lot of though went into creating him.

Marius can seem a little aloft or distanced, but with his background that is exactly what one would expect. It was the Roman way. And he's the most elaborated construct, so detailed that he seems only one step from being real.
