Considering the fact that you know I am half korean you would have to assume I would have to had considered that at some point I'm not a jack ass, contrary to what you may like to believe.

Yes of course China is a threat and they have nukes, and wow so does N.Korea but something tells me that America is still the fucking super power of the world no matter how you want to look at it.

And that was my point all along. The fear comment was more a smart ass remark of my own beliefs...

I refuse to continue this because your damn ludicrous, fighting with you is pointless because you fail to see the point in what I'm trying to say and keep repeating the same idiotic information in a different format over and over hoping your redundancy will win.

The U.S. is and has been a super power way before the war mongering even came about.. your a fucking idiot if you just started believing otherwise and no matter what asinine comment you post after this im going to ignore it because your a moron.

Yes, and so have the romans, Germany, England, and they all fell as well, sooner or later the US will fall, and they will fall hard, with a country as arrogant as your own, they WILL fall, and it isn't very far away.

Kh, US men still have to register at 18. As you said the draft has been disbanded, but registration is still going on. And it isn't all that far fetched that congress would reinstate the draft. When I left the us there were a lot of people pushing for its reinstatement.

don't be so quick to start calling people morons, when you hear rumors about stupid stuff going on in the US it is very hard to not believe them.

Last time I checked, there's more then 405 people in America...

Just because THOSE 405 people didnt want it, doesnt mean other people didnt.

again I must reinterate how useless it is to try and inform you of facts.

I feel ashamed for engaging in arguement with you after realizing this the first time.

Perhaps you don't understand what I meant. In order to understand, all you have to do is use some logic and a little tiny bit of open mindedness.

Ok, here's how it works. I'll just put down some hypothetical results for states, or however you do it there, for and agaisnt the draft.

ok, so, 403 representatives voted no, now, the results of the people who are being represtented could have only been the majority by 0.01%. Now lets just say the representitive who voted yes, kets say their results were 99% in favour of the draft.

Now using that logic, more people would have voted for the draft then those who voted against it.

Sure, that's probably not how it happened, but just because the representatives voted that way, doesnt mean the majority of people voted that way.

It is also important to note, that popular opinion and representatives don't always agree. In theory representative should always vote what their constituents want, but in practice there isn't a vote for constituents to illumine the path for the representatives. They are elected because people believe that the representatives ideals coincide with their own. Hence why the US is a republic and not a direct democracy.

It is a statement of the rising popularity of the idea of reinstating the draft that it actually was presented to congress and voted on.

' In theory representative should always vote what their constituents want, but in practice there isn't a vote for constituents to illumine the path for the representatives.'

You actually have it rather backwards. In theory, representatives should vote for whatever they believe is the right course of action, and constituents vote for a representative with a similar mindset, with the idea behind it being the common man is not well enough informed to run the country effectively. Unfortunately, in practice representatives, in order to ensure their reelection, conduct opinion polls to see how most people want them to vote.
