Guten tag, people. Great forum you have here! I'm a MC2 owner from Finland, and have spent quite a lot of time checking out the topics with google translator and sometimes even managing to understand some of the german conversation. Nice to see so many Aerodeck owners here! Those cars are rare in Finland. Here's a photo of my current car:
It's got 16" Zero-rims on it with Falken tires, Koni Sportkit, original Sportline-bodykit, tinted windows, some wiremesh on the front grille and bumper, and all badges and stickers removed. I've had it for about 4 months now, and have lots planned for it... It's actually my second Aerodeck already. Bought a 1.4-deck a year ago, but got power-hungry and had to trade it in for the MC2 less than a year later. Loved the first one though, it was in perfect condition and was a dream to drive with H&R -35mm springs and GTS-shocks. Here's a picture it too:
Sometime ago here at the german forum i saw a nice step-by-step guide of painting the edges of the front lights black for a MC2, but can't find it anymore. Can somebody please give me a link for it if it's still here? Would be greatly appreciated! |

Thanks Mandraxxxx for the quick answer! Actually the one i saw before was different, with lots of photos, but this one is a lot more descriptive so it'll work just as well. I think i'm all set for the weekend now! |

Thanks, i thought about saying something about the rims but decided that better not to point the obvious
But i have to mention that it's a funny thing to find a picture of another finnish Honda with Zero ZE04's on a german forum, since i've never seen the same rims on a Honda anywhere else in Finland before . |

Work in progress:
New headlight:
I'm pretty satisfied with the results, haven't seen another Aerodeck in Finland with the same modification. But it sure took a lot of time... i did one headlight that weekend, and the other one later. Thanks again for the help, Mandraxxx, for the link to the instructions. On the same weekend i painted the calipers red and removed the headlight washers. I've also worked on the interior a bit: Mugen pedals, Tenzo-r shift knob, and Moman Indiglo dials.
Next step will be fixing the window sills and buying rims for winter tires. I'm going for 15" to get decent tires on them... with 16-inchers i can't get any proper tires for finnish winter conditions. Any suggestions about the rims? I'm looking for something pretty cheap. |

if you`re looking for 15 inch wheels, just try the original rims from honda
they really fit the m-series, and shouldn`t be that expensive because they`re not really rare
i`d suggest you paint them black for winter, really looks sweet on silver cars
or, thinking about finnish winter conditions, what about powder coating?

Hi,
This is my current winter set-up: 15" League 273-rims on 195/55 Continentals. Ordered the wheels from england, got a really good price and quick shipping.
Next i want to get coilovers for my ride. Problem is, i can't find MC2-specific coilovers anywhere. TSS-tuning has both Koni and KW kits that will fit a MA8 and a MB6, but not and MC2... i'm curious why is this so?
If anybody can help me with finding a ride height adjustable suspension kit for my deck i'd really appreciate it. Also, if someone would post this on the german speaking forum that would be just great! It seems like Germany has the most modified MC2's i've seen so far so i think this is the best place to look for answers. |

Think Ive seen you on civic5 Dexter? Love the new alloys, thought they were VTI-s speedlines when I first looked! Suit the car welll. Do the coilovers from the mb6 not go on the mc2? Would have thought they were the same. If you PM VtiVroom on civic5, His aerodeck is lowered on coilovers Sits extremely low!!!
Hope this helps, and keep up the good work onthe deck _________________ http://www.hondaclub-uk.com/ The new site for all Hondas!
