That's a cool idea! Sorry, but I've stolen your idea and got a similar countdown for my signature.
You could do the same, if you like. Just copy the following code and paste it to your profile where it says signature.

Yeah, I was searching for some other music related countdown clocks too but haven't found anything nice yet. Would be fun to add one to the forum-index to count down the days 'till Amplified! If only we knew the release date ;)

I was thinking the same thing, about having an Amplified countdown...but no, we don't know the date yet. Haven't heard a peep about it in ages.

Update on the progress would be fab, even if it's to let us know that the release is being delayed somewhat. At least we'd know something.

About the Birmingham concert last November...
.. it was the first and only SR concert I've ever been to, but now that I've had a taste of it, I'll be back for more!!
Just out of sheer curiosity... Shannon how where you dressed for the Birmingham concert? I was in the right front block too.
There were two ladies that I remember in particular, one that could whistle like a cowboy, and if I were not so shy I'd have asked her to teach me there and then :top
the other one was wearing a red scarf on a long coat and looked as she new most of the people there, so I was wondering if she was somebody from here

I'm sure those two were probably some of our online friends--but it was not my group. Which part of the front were you in, and what were you wearing? The Rose Tattoo and I were both on the right hand side, middle of the row--I was in a black camisole top with gold and silver sequins and a black crushed velvet short jacket--Rizzie was in a black leather jacket and--?? Knokkak was in the center section at that show, same row as us. None of us can whistle that well (or at least I know I can't!!)--but if you happened to hear a "GO STEVE!!!!!" at the beginning of "Sad Old Red"... :wink: :oops: :D ...yep, that was me. *giggles*
(I figure you might have, as I yelled it so loud, the sound desk in the middle of the arena actually picked it up a bit for the Instant Live CD's. :oops: :oops: :oops: ...:devil)

The arms are up, clappin', swingin' to the beat, and I'm just generally gyrating all over 'cause I LOVE that track! A certain band member noted my enthusiasm during that particular show with his killer smile--though now in retrospect I wonder if he was witness to the near-poke and was laughing at us...*nervous giggle*

I've just put on SAD OLD RED from the live CD and heard you Sas... :lol:
I was in block C as well, probably not too far from you two ladies... I wasn't that smartly dressed though.., black blouse and jeans, I'd be surpriesed if anyone had spotted me in the dark! :D
How I love this live CD... I still can't believe how much I had fun that night, it could only have been better if I had waited to see the band living... I don't think I would have had the courage to get any close to Mick :oops: when I'm embarassed my English gets even more bizarre :flop
I wonder how I'll cope in the front row at Warwick Castle, I'm gonna melt after the first song!!! :D
F.M.I. = For My Information, which exit did the band use at the NEC, was it the one on the right of the stage??

Hmmmm...*thinks* I think they actually left off the left hand side of the stage at Brum (from our perspective)--they left on the right hand side at Sheffield, got to wave at Dave at that one. If you mean where did they leave the VENUE, you needed to go 'round the back--I think we left by the left-hand-side exits to get out the fastest...but the only one that came out for any length of time that night was Mick, everyone else split early... :-(
Where exactly was your seat in Block C, Via? We were Row 4 (D), seats 7 and 8...
Front row at Warwick?? Well done!! Do tell us how it goes. Not sure where I'm going to wind up for mine--I know I'm 2nd row at Leeds Castle and 4th row at Liverpool, but not sure where in the row at either. My other two call for a sprint to the front...buying some new track shoes soon. :wink:

According to my ticket confirmation, I'm Block 2, Row BB, Seat 15. Are you familiar with the venue? I couldn't make out their seating chart very well--looks like I'm second row but not sure where in the row.
Would be good to meet up. I'm going to be rolling in sometime mid-afternoon, and I have to pick my ticket up at the box office. What time will you be getting there? I'm taking the coach in from Bearsted station; maybe we could meet where the coach drops off?
Or by the topiary maze, provided I haven't gotten lost in it again. :D

...and I'll be lucky to even make it to move-out, it's oppressively hot in here (about 90 degrees Fahrenheit)...no air conditioning and the fans are not helping at all...it's making me physically ill. :shock:

Ah, found it. :D We will be pretty close then! Wanna meet up beforehand? I'll be catching the 1:30 pm coach from Bearsted station to the Castle. Have to duck out an hour before gate open to get my ticket from the box office. Other than that, afternoon's open. :-D
