Trip chock full of music!!
Getting really excited for my trip to the UK now...

Just booked two more shows--not SR shows as I think 4 should be enough(!!), but Marcus Miller, legendary bassist (he's worked with Miles Davis and the like, his solo stuff is KILLER). He just so happens to be playing at the famous Jazz Cafe on the 3rd and 4th July--right in between two of the SR gigs I'm seeing! And I'm STAYING in London, so I'll be right across town from the venue!

How cool is that??? Checking out a world-renowned venue, listening to one of the greats in the business. The timing could not have been better.

Not to mention the chance of seeing my favorite bassists back to back. Sweet. :rock :rock :rock Taking the notebook along to write down some tips, methinks. :D

All this, plus the new albums by Dave and the entire band dropping soon?

Happy mod! Happy mod!! Happy mod!!! *bounce bounce bounce*

Just had to share my giddiness. Anyone else doing concert runs this summer (SR and/or others)?

68 more days until I board the plane.

70 more days until Beaulieu.

71 more days until Harewood House.

72 more days until Jazz Cafe night one.

73 more days until Jazz Cafe night two.

76 more days until Leeds Castle.

87 more days until Liverpool.

I'd better get cracking on my plans. :D Still need overnight accommodations or transport back to London for three of those SR gigs. Have connections for two but haven't firmed anything up with those people yet. OI!!! :shock: :P

So Michi, how many days 'til YOUR gigs? :wink:

I'm still so afraid I could drive to Hannover when I should drive to Gelsenkirchen :shock: . You know they mixed up the dates. I bet they changed it because Madonna is in Hannover on the same day (August 22nd)! Oh, I just recognized that's exactly 4 months ahead (or 122 days)!!!

Hee hee!! So you DO know now. Yeah, maybe we can all leave reminders for you which gig to go to when... :D And you might be right as to the reason why they changed it. 4 months. Not far away!! This board has been going longer than that now, hasn't it? :-D (It's somewhere around there...)

Oh, really :o ...but only a tiny lil bit longer. I signed in on December 19th and as far as I remember I was the very first member *silly-giggle* :lol: ...so that must have been the date on which this forum was opened ;)
