Hi folks,

these are a couple of links to the Italian fansite, some of the pics are a couple of years old, but there are a few more recent and a couple quite funny...nice legs Mick... :-D :D

There's a bunch on there--I scoured the Index. :D :D :D Only one of Pete though. But a decent one. Some of the ones of Steve are great--I can actually study his technique a bit 'cause they're full shots. He doesn't sit still enough during the gigs to really take it in. Not that I mind when he really gets into the groove... :rock

I can try...but as I've said, I'm an idiot when it comes to this video stuff. It may have some encoding that won't translate. But I'll give it a go.

In the meantime, I'm wondering why DivX wouldn't work for you--should have been able to watch it on there no problem. But you did get the video file to download OK at least? If you have the file but just can't play it, we can work with that.

EDIT: Couldn't find any menu options anywhere to save as another type of file. I think .avi files have a whole different encoding system, hence the special player. I think I know what your problem might be though. Do you have the ActiveX Controller enabled? It's some goofy partner program that helps with programs like Adobe and DivX--and Windows Firewall hates it, will disable it every chance it gets. Might have to go into your security settings and tell the firewall to allow that application to run. Or you might have an outdated version that needs updating. I had some problems with ActiveX running when I first tried playing this file, but it was because my DivX was like 2 years out of date, and so was my version of ActiveX. The new download fixed the problem.

No worries, though...would be glad to have them, but will be even more glad just to see them both play again. Maybe now that I've been on the bass a while, I'll be able to get more out of watching Steve play--and this time I'm takin' notes. :-D (And more pics, natch. :wink: ) Pete--I just want to see his face light up when he really gets into a part. He's a blast to watch. And I really like his drumming style.

Haven't gotten the chance to meet them yet, but I figure, if it's meant to happen, it will. If it's not, it won't. I'm just grateful for the inspiration Steve gave me to get on an instrument again--loving every minute of it, been needing this for years. :top

You're welcome...I think :oops: Just did a search for ActiveX on my computer--came up with 138 files!! Nearest I can figure is it's part of the Adobe package (do you have Adobe Reader on your computer? If so, go to 'My Computer', 'C:', 'Program Files', and 'Adobe'--it should be in there.). From there, it installs itself into the Windows Service Pack as a compressed file folder, and it runs everything it needs to from there. It's tied in with a LOT of programs...

Anywhoo, I hope Liz can convert it for you too. If not, maybe we can try troubleshooting this over the phone sometime?

Yes, the Mickey wiggle is diviiiiine - but, I think he moved sexier on the "Home" tour. Just my opinion. Also, I can't save this file for some reason - my computer won't let me save it. Oh well, at least I got to SEE it.
