    Unknown U.S. made aircraft
    Hello,
Could you help me to figure out which aircraft this part(s) from?
I mean in the upper left corner with the text "Up .... Wing Flaps ...".
My first guess at the crash-site was P-51, but I am not sure in it. I tried to find the part in P-51 cockpit photos I have, without success. It has to be a single or twin engined plane.
Right now I could not close out the possibility that it was a lendlease plane and was flown by the Russians. There are other parts without any special marking, but I can send photos of them too.
Every hint or idea is warmly welcomed.
    Thank you in advance!
    Nandi

    Nandi,

Thanks for posting ! Are you sure there are no numbers to find on these parts?

    Regards,

    Paul

    numbers
    Hi Paul,
I checked through all the parts and here are the ones have any number or marking. Meanwhile I recognized one more piece from the instrument panel. I am not good in engines: May I am wrong but the existence of the carburator might help.

This plate must be for the switch from the de-icing system of the carb.
On the top you can read "CARB" and below "MOM. DE-ICER". But what is "MOM" ?

    solution
    Hi,
Meanwhile I sent the photos to an expert of the Smithonian Institute at Washington D.C.
He could narrow down the possible types for C-47 or C-53.
The carburator deicer helped the most.
