Hope this forum gets active. I have some photos somewhere from the show Ubu did here a few months back, I'll pass them on to you at some stage if you like. David Thomas was furiously angry that night! There was all types of problems with the sound in the place and none of the band were very happy. Hope that doesn't stop them coming back in the future! (Hopefully to a different venue!)
Anyway,
I'm 21, from Dublin, Ireland, have been into Ubu since I was 15 and heard them on a compilation called 'Urgh: A Music War!'. Also an obsessive fan of Captain Beefheart, The Kinks, The Bonzo Dog Band, Serge Gainsbourg, Kraftwerk, The Stranglers, Sparks, The Minutemen, The Smiths, Roxy Music and The Residents, Wire and Yello. A a regular fan of lots more.
