Hi all,
As I write this it's 7.55am UK Time on Thursday, so some of you may have already discovered that the Musicians Section on sr.com is now open. I think you will find it's all so much different to the previous version and not quite what I expected to find - have fun checking it out!
The Links section is also open, scroll to the bottom of the page and click on Links. Sad to say that they've not included this forum yet.

I'd already posted about the Musicians section last night (they actually got it running yesterday), but the Links info is new. Moving this to 'Extra, Extra' along with the rest of the SR news--feel free to post there anytime! :D
And you're right--no link to here yet. Probably 'cause they just put up the old links. We'll probably have to e-mail with a petition for inclusion. Will chat with Michi about it. :wink:

Will e-mail Elaine tomorrow about adding the link to our forum on the links-section and hope she won't say no :wink:
I just wonder why they kind of "hide" the links to the contact- and links-section at the bottom of the homepage?!

Good question. Also wondering why it took so long to put all this up if they just used the old info...the info that's been up since '02...
I'm no techie though, I don't know how much code was involved...
...still, would have been nice to see something current. *shrugs*
EDIT: GOOD EYES, Pat!! Several of the musicians' profiles don't even say what they PLAY!!! Dave, Steve, Pete, Sarah...what do they do? :?
For Dave, Pete, and Sarah, it's not so bad, it's bloody obvious what they do if you see them on stage...but Steve...
Not everyone realizes the difference between guitar and bass. As is becoming painfully evident to me now that I'm playing bass. When I go to my lessons, and people see the bass case strapped to my back, I repeatedly get people saying, "Alright, you play guitar!" and doing this insane air guitar fret-wanking motion. I can just so see someone coming up to him after seeing that website, and seeing him at a show, going, "Great guitar playing!!"

Thankfully he's a laid-back guy who'll probably just laugh it off. :wink: :D May I channel some of that easy vibe the next time I get a guitar comment...:angel
