That would be a dream come true Maxi-saxi.

It's been TWELVE years now since the box set was released and an english version on stage still seems a long way off. Why not record an english album version to create some more interest in a stage version? It would have to have Helen on it obviously and I would like to keep Peter as well but maybe some other more international stars could take other parts to attract new fans.

Think of the publicity something like this could have attracted if they had it ready for release around the time Mamma Mia the movie hit the cinemas. I think it's a real missed opportunity though maybe we will have the promised english BAO album around this time which could give it the exposure that it deserves.

If they ever release an English Kristina album (or rather a CD box) I would DEFINITELY want the original artists to sing! No internationally known names, but the best singers for these songs.
Watching the video again and again I must admit that it sounds strange to me in English. ItŽs beautiful, of course! But itŽs such a SWEDISH musical that it feels strange to hear that all too familiar song in English.

Oh, Helen has worn that dress also during the whole BAO tour 2005, at the BAO concert at BennyŽs Rival hotel in 2006 and again at the 2 BAO concerts in 2007... She just loves it. And it really suits her on stage! :D

I think the legal problems were just one reason for not staging an English version of Kristina up to now. The more serious reason might be that possible US investors just didnŽt like it all too much. It was too sad for their taste.

"Du är min man" was from 2006 when it was performed again (later followed by "Det är vi ändå") - this time for two gay men (it was the Stockholm pride week). You see the "couple" in kind of wedding suits in the audience in the beginning when you watch out carefully.
ThatŽs why I can say which year it was.

And I was wrong! See further below.

When I watched your video I just remembered that I was a bit disappointed sitting in the Allsång på Skansen rehersals and hearing "Du är min man" again after they had performed it already the year before (fortunately they sang "Det är vi ändå" later, the new song then).
This brings me to: "Vår sista dans" was performed (AGAIN) in 2003, not in 2004 as I wrote. Sorry once more!
This was the first time I thought that they should rather perform something new - since "Vår sista dans" had been presented the first time in 2001. They had tried "Lätt som en sommarfjäril" during the rehersals and were probably not satisfied with the audienceŽs response. So they played "Vår sista dans" again.

Anyway, the correct list would be then:
1) "Du är min man", Allsång på Skansen, 2 August 2005
2) "Fait accomplit" , Allsång på Skansen, 7 August 2007
3) "Det är vi ändå", TV Huset, April (?) 2006
4) "Money, Money, Money", Balluns på Berwaldhallen, 5 January 2002

I just remembered that "Du är min man" has been at Svensktoppen for almost 200 weeks now. And that means itŽs been there for almost 4 years!!!
